About me and my therapy practice
As a Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist, I work with each person as a unique individual, drawing on a range of therapeutic models rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
Curiosity, compassion, and genuine presence sit at the heart of my work. I believe that the steady, supportive relationship we build together in therapy gives the foundation for exploration, insight, healing and meaningful change.
Some of the things we can explore together:
- Anxiety, stress and overwhelm
- Loss, grief and life transitions
- Attachment and relationship patterns
- Trauma and the impact of past experiences
- Identity, sexuality and relationships
- Self-worth, self-understanding and shame
- Neurodivergence
- Estrangement and disconnection
I have a particular interest in working with neurodivergent clients, as well as people from LGBTQIA+, kink, polyamorous and non-monogamous communities. Some of these are communities I have personal as well as professional understanding of, and I know how important it can be to find a therapist who gets it – without feeling that you need to explain, justify or defend the way you experience the world, your identity or your relationships.
You don't need to be coming to therapy because of these parts of your life, either. They may simply be part of who you are. My focus is on creating a relational, caring and affirming space where all parts of you are welcome, and where you can pause, reflect and explore things at a pace that feels manageable.
Practice description
My practice is based in a calm, private, ground-floor therapy room in Uphill Lincoln. The space is designed to feel welcoming and peaceful, offering a place to pause and reflect away from daily demands. There is free off-street parking available and a bus stop nearby for easy access.
I offer both in-person and online sessions, depending on what feels most comfortable and convenient for you. However we meet, my focus is on creating a sense of safety, respect, and genuine connection.
With accredited training, ongoing CPD and regular clinical supervision, I have been working therapeutically with clients since 2023. I have a wide range of experience across both the charitable sector and private practice. With over 650 hours of client work to date I combine professional training with practical experience to offer a safe, trusted space.
Starting therapy can sometimes feel like a big or daunting step. Taking time to research and read profiles is already a really meaningful start. If what you've read resonates, you’re welcome to get in touch for an initial conversation (free of charge), where we can explore whether working together feels right for you. I look forward to meeting you ✨
