About me and my therapy practice
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist (MBACP) offering confidential therapy for adults navigating anxiety, grief, burnout, relationship difficulties, trauma, and life transitions. Many clients come to therapy when something no longer feels sustainable — when pressure, loss, or uncertainty begins to affect their sense of stability or direction.
My approach is integrative, drawing from Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), alongside trauma-informed practice, mindfulness, and positive psychology. This allows us to explore emotional patterns and relationship dynamics while also developing practical tools to manage anxiety, rumination, and low mood.
I work with people from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. Many of my clients are professionals, creatives, or individuals working in high-responsibility roles, though therapy is open to anyone seeking a supportive space to reflect and move forward.
I also have experience supporting women navigating reproductive and life-stage transitions, including fertility challenges, pregnancy or baby loss, perinatal anxiety, and menopause-related emotional changes. These experiences can affect identity, relationships, confidence, and a sense of control over the body, and therapy offers space to process them sensitively and at your own pace.
My style is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I aim to create a calm and confidential environment where you can speak openly, understand the patterns shaping your experiences, and develop ways of responding that feel more manageable and sustainable.
Alongside my private practice, I deliver workplace wellbeing and bereavement training for organisations and serve as a Trustee for Liverpool Bereavement Service.
If you are considering therapy, you are welcome to get in touch to discuss what support you may be looking for and whether working together might feel like the right fit.
Practice description
My practice offers a calm and confidential space where you can pause, reflect, and make sense of what may be happening beneath the surface. Therapy provides an opportunity to talk openly about difficult experiences, explore emotional patterns, and reconnect with yourself — particularly if you have been carrying responsibility or pressure for a long time.
I work integratively, drawing from Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), alongside trauma-informed practice, mindfulness, and positive psychology. This allows sessions to be adapted to your individual needs, combining emotional exploration with practical tools that can support meaningful and sustainable change.
Many of my clients are professionals, creatives, or individuals working in high-responsibility roles who are managing anxiety, burnout, grief, relationship difficulties, or periods of life transition. Others come to therapy simply wanting a supportive space to understand themselves more clearly and develop greater confidence and resilience.
I also have experience supporting women navigating reproductive and life-stage transitions, including fertility challenges, pregnancy or baby loss, perinatal anxiety, and menopause-related emotional changes.
Sessions are collaborative and conversational, focused on understanding your experiences, recognising patterns that may be maintaining distress, and developing ways of responding that feel more manageable.
Sessions last 60 minutes and are available in person in Liverpool city centre or online across the UK and internationally. I offer both short-term and longer-term therapy depending on your needs.
My aim is to provide a thoughtful, compassionate, and professional space where you can explore what feels difficult and work towards greater clarity and steadiness in your life.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity to begin exploring what has brought you to therapy and what you would like support with. It offers a gentle starting point where you can talk about what has been happening in your life, what currently feels difficult, and what you may hope to gain from therapy. There is no pressure to share everything straight away; we will move at a pace that feels manageable for you.
During this session I will ask some background questions to help me understand your circumstances, any significant experiences that may be relevant, and the areas you would most like to focus on. This helps us begin to build a shared understanding of what may be contributing to your current difficulties.
We will also discuss your goals for therapy and consider how we might work together. Some people prefer shorter, more focused work around a particular issue, while others benefit from longer-term therapy to explore deeper patterns or life experiences.
Sessions last 60 minutes and can take place in person in Liverpool city centre or online across the UK and internationally. All sessions are confidential and conducted in line with the BACP Ethical Framework.
My approach is collaborative and supportive. You set the focus for the work, and I provide a calm and thoughtful space where we can begin to make sense of what feels difficult and explore ways forward.
At the end of the first session, you can decide whether you would like to continue. If you choose to proceed, we can agree together on a way of working that suits your needs, whether that is weekly, fortnightly, or occasional sessions.
