Availability
I currently have availability for both in person and online clients. These sessions can be a flexible mix of both to suit your personal needs.
I offer daytime and evening sessions plus Saturday.

About me and my therapy practice
You are my priority, your needs, your thoughts and your feelings. We take things at your pace, i'm happy to integrate things into our sessions to help you feel more confident or comfortable in the space such as Music or drawing. If your happy to just sit and chat with me that is fine too. Ultimately this is your space to be seen and heard, to voice how you feel and to feel safe to do so. I'm here to support you while you do so.
Practice description
I am a integrative counsellor with my basis set in person centred theory. What this means for you is that I may pull on different therapy styles to support you through our sessions. This could mean some CBT tools to help with anxiety or art therapy to help with feeling safe in the space or eye contact. Overall I work in a person centred manner, this means the session is all about you, 50 mins of your time to think, feel and be heard.
I believe we all deserve to have our needs met so I offer neuro-affirming therapy. This means I support individuals by accepting and recognising their unique self, We are all different and have varying needs, I accept and adapt for just that. My aim is to support you in being your authentic self in whatever way is suitable for you.
I also work with children aged 5+, I have extensive experience working with children in and out of education and support children who are struggling with a range of problems such as ADHD, anxiety, school issues, exam pressure etc.
My first session
In your first session it is all about getting to know each other, we will chat about how you feel about coming to the session, past therapy experiences and what has brought you today. It is a chilled session where we talk about whatever you want to, I don't push you to talk about your deepest thoughts and fears, It's just about building our connection and trust.
This is the perfect time to discuss any adaptations you may need in our sessions, this could mean background music because you struggle with silence, maybe you have good days and bad days so flexible sessions which switch between face to face and online would suit you best. Adaptations if needed can change the whole feel of the session, making you feel more comfortable or safe in your environment, so please tell me, I want to help.
