Availability

I offer sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with appointments available in the evenings. Availability is limited and offered on a first-come basis.

If a suitable slot is not immediately available, I can offer placement on a short waiting list and will keep you updated if a space becomes free.

From time to time, I may take planned leave for rest, professional development, or personal reasons. Any planned breaks will be communicated in advance and, where relevant, discussed collaboratively with existing clients.

If you are enquiring about therapy and would like to check whether my current availability fits with what you are looking for, you are welcome to get in touch to discuss this further.

About me and my therapy practice

I’m a humanistic psychotherapist and my approach is relational, down-to-earth, and collaborative.

I don’t see people as broken or something to be fixed. Therapy, for me, is about creating a space where you can slow things down, make sense of what’s going on for you, and feel met as a whole person. I work alongside you rather than taking an expert role, and I place a lot of value on honesty, trust, and the relationship we build.

My work is flexible rather than formulaic. Sessions are shaped around you and what you bring, whether that’s thoughts, feelings, patterns, or things that feel hard to put into words.

Starting therapy can feel exposing or uncertain, especially if you’re not sure what you need yet. You don’t need to arrive with a clear goal or story - part of the work can be figuring that out together. I aim to offer a space that feels safe, non-judgmental, and grounded, where you can be honest about where you are.

Practice description

My practice currently offers online therapy only, providing a confidential and accessible space for adults to talk openly about what is going on for them.

Sessions take place via secure video and are client-led and collaborative. There is no set agenda and no pressure to talk about anything before you feel ready. Some sessions may feel reflective and exploratory, others more focused, depending on what you need at the time. We may look at thoughts, feelings, relationships, patterns, or experiences from the past and present, always at a pace that feels manageable.

I aim to offer therapy that is respectful, non-judgemental, and grounded. You do not need to have a clear goal or diagnosis to begin therapy. People come for many reasons - feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply wanting space to think and be heard.

My role is not to advise or direct, but to support you in developing greater understanding of yourself and your experiences. I work with care, clear boundaries, and a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship, which I see as central to the work.

If you are new to therapy or unsure whether online sessions are right for you, I am happy to answer any questions you may have before you decide to begin.

My first session

The first session is an opportunity for us to meet and get a sense of whether working together feels right.

It is structured much like any other session and there is no expectation to share everything at once. We will spend some time talking about what has brought you to therapy and what you are hoping for, but the session will move at your pace.

I will ask some gentle questions to understand your situation and explain how I work, including practical and ethical aspects such as confidentiality and boundaries. You are also welcome to ask questions and to use the space to decide whether this feels like a good fit for you.

The first session is charged at the same rate as ongoing sessions, and there is no obligation to continue beyond this point.

If you decide to go ahead with therapy, we can think together about next steps and what ongoing sessions might look like. If not, that is also okay.
