About me and my therapy practice
My way of working is warm, thoughtful, and collaborative. We’ll focus on what’s happening in your present life, and when it feels helpful, we’ll gently look at how past experiences and relationships may still be shaping the way you feel, react, or relate to others.
Not to analyse you or label you, but to help you understand yourself better and feel less stuck.
I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, respected, and not judged. My role is to offer a steady, supportive space where you can think, feel, and talk things through, and gradually find more clarity, confidence, and balance in your life and relationships.
Practice description
I’m a BACP-registered counsellor, and I work in a way that’s practical, human, and flexible. I don’t believe in “one-size-fits-all” therapy. Instead, I try to understand your story, your needs, and your goals.
We’ll explore how your life experiences, family, community, or culture might shape the way you feel today. And we’ll do it together, safely and respectfully. My sessions are collaborative, meaning I listen closely and guide gently, rather than telling you what to do.
Support and Therapy for Cult Recovery, Religious Trauma, Spiritual Abuse, and support when leaving Cults or High Demand Groups
If you’re recovering from religious trauma, spiritual abuse, or leaving a cult, I understand that it can be confusing, isolating, or frightening. You might be questioning long-held beliefs or struggling to trust yourself.
I offer gentle, trauma-informed support, helping you untangle the past, understand how it affects your present, and rebuild your confidence and clarity. These experiences often ripple out into many areas of life, and we’ll work together to support healing in practical, meaningful ways, at a pace that feels safe for you.
My first session
Your first session is 60 minutes, giving us space to explore what brought you to counselling. You can share as much or as little as feels comfortable.
Feeling nervous is completely normal. My role is to make the session feel safe, calm, and supportive, so you can start exploring your thoughts and feelings without worry. From the first meeting, I aim to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and respected.
