If you’re unsure about reaching out, that’s completely understandable. Taking that first step can feel daunting but it's a positive choice for your well-being. An initial conversation is simply a gentle opportunity to connect, ask any questions, and see whether working together feels like a good fit for you.
About me and my therapy practice
Specialist area: counselling for Cult Recovery, Religious Trauma, Spiritual Abuse, and support when leaving Cults or High Demand Groups.
You may be considering counselling because something doesn’t feel quite right, perhaps you’re feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns you don’t fully understand. You might be struggling with relationships, self-doubt, or the impact of past experiences. Or maybe you’re seeking personal growth and a deeper connection with yourself.
Whatever brings you to therapy, I offer a warm, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard and supported. Therapy is not just about talking through difficulties, it’s about helping you gain clarity, build self-confidence, and find a way forward that feels right for you.
I work with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, relationship difficulties, family issues, and OCD and religious trauma, including experiences of spiritual abuse or recovery from high-control environments. Together, we explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace, helping you develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and self-acceptance.
Often, our current struggles are linked to earlier experiences, shaping how we relate to ourselves and others. You may notice patterns such as overthinking, fear of making mistakes, or difficulty trusting yourself. Therapy can help you understand these patterns and begin to make meaningful, lasting changes.
