I am currently finalising contracts for my clinical spaces in the Marylebone/Harley Street area, as well as Beaconsfield, and in the meantime I am offering online sessions. If you would like to begin therapy with me, you are very welcome to book online sessions while my in-person spaces are being confirmed over the coming weeks. You can then move to face-to-face sessions when they become available, or continue working online if that feels right for you.

About me and my therapy practice

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, low self-worth, or the impact of past trauma, my approach offers compassionate exploration and the possibility of meaningful, lasting change.

I have experience working with people from a wide range of professional and life backgrounds, including those working in law, finance, technology, the arts, media, and creative industries. I also work with people at different stages of life, including students, parents, and people navigating later life transitions.

I am an integrative, evidence-based psychotherapist, with experience in both the NHS and private practice. I take time to understand how your past experiences may be shaping your feelings, behaviours, relationships, the way you move through your personal and professional life. Together, we work at a pace that feels safe, steady, and supportive, transforming patterns that no longer serve you.

My practice is grounded in humanistic counselling psychology, valuing respect, autonomy, empowerment, and the therapeutic relationship. I take a holistic, inclusive, evidence-based approach, informed by contemporary research and my doctoral training (PsychD). I work integratively, tailoring therapy to each client rather than a one-size-fits-all model.

I am fluent in English and Norwegian, and I also understand Swedish and Danish.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and work in accordance with its professional and ethical standards.

Practice description

I have worked across a range of clinical settings, including the NHS Adult Eating Disorders Service, where I provided evidence-based therapy within a multidisciplinary team to individuals experiencing severe and complex eating disorders. I also have extensive experience supporting people navigating substance misuse alongside co-occurring difficulties such as trauma, anxiety, and depression, often within high-intensity therapeutic environments. Alongside this, I have offered long-term integrative psychotherapy in private practice, working with a wide spectrum of presenting issues. Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent more than a decade working in the business and creative industries.

I am nearing completion of my doctoral training in Counselling Psychology (PsychD), where my research focuses on the phenomenon of sudden improvement in psychotherapy- sudden insight that can shift a person’s experience of their mental health difficulties.
