About me and my therapy practice
You might seem fine on the outside, yet inside, it can feel like constant overthinking, self-doubt, or a sense of not quite belonging. Many people come to therapy feeling exhausted from holding it together, being 'the strong one', or quietly questioning themselves. Therapy can be a place where you no longer have to perform or cope alone.
I offer a calm, supportive space where you can slow down and explore what is really going on for you. This is a place to speak openly, without judgement or pressure, and to bring whatever feels important — even if it’s hard to put into words. Therapy is not about fixing you, but about understanding yourself more deeply and finding ways of living that feel more authentic and sustainable.
I work with people navigating anxiety, burnout, grief, life transitions, identity questions, and the impact of growing up between cultures or adapting to new environments. Sessions are collaborative and shaped around you, drawing on different approaches rather than a one-size-fits-all model. We move at a pace that feels safe, allowing space for reflection, clarity, and self-compassion to develop over time.
You do not need to be in crisis to begin. Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply sensing that something needs to change is enough. I’m here to listen and support you when you feel ready to take that step.
Practice description
Therapy with me is collaborative, thoughtful, and shaped around your individual needs. I offer a steady and reflective space where you can speak openly and explore what feels important to you, at a pace that feels manageable.
Sessions are led by you. Some people use therapy to focus on current difficulties, while others want to explore longer-standing patterns, relationships, or questions around identity and belonging. We can move between these as needed, with regular check-ins about how the work is feeling for you.
I do not follow a rigid, one-size-fits-all model. Instead, I draw on different therapeutic approaches to support the work, keeping sessions flexible and responsive. My style is warm, grounded, and attentive, with an emphasis on safety, clarity, and trust in the therapeutic relationship.
You can expect consistency, respect, and openness from me. Therapy is not about quick fixes or advice-giving, but about helping you understand yourself more deeply and develop ways of coping that feel realistic and sustainable.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to meet and begin exploring what brings you to therapy. This session is offered at a reduced rate of £45 (standard sessions are £60). It is a full therapy session rather than a separate assessment.
During this session, I may ask some questions to understand your background and what you hope to achieve, but there is no requirement to prepare or share anything you’re not ready to. There are no forms or assessments to complete in advance.
You can also use this session to get a sense of how it is to work with me and ask any questions about my approach. From there, we can decide together whether continuing feels like the right next step for you.
