About me and my therapy practice

Hello I'm Amanda, a trauma-informed Relational Integrative Psychotherapist, Executive Coach, MBSR/MBCT Teacher and Chartered HR professional (FCIPD). I am one of a few people across the UK qualified in all these areas.

With a background as an HR professional and Coach spanning over 25 years, I am passionate about supporting individual and organisational mental health and growth. I offer an inclusive, friendly and confidential service for my clients who may have experienced trauma, challenges and emotional distress within their environment.

I work across three areas as follows:

For individual clients I offer relational, trauma-informed integrative psychotherapy, mindfulness-based ways of working and coaching.

I offer tailored therapeutic coaching support to new and aspiring leaders and executives to support them in coping with the demands of the role and to reduce stress and burnout.

For organisations and HR professionals I offer consultancy to support the development of wellbeing and mental health people practices.

My practice is inclusive, humanistic, psychodynamic and psychoanalytic and I incorporate talking therapy with creative and somatic ways of working with both mind and body to support recovery from distress and emotional disturbance.

For individual clients I can offer both short and longer term therapy and I work online and in person incorporating early morning sessions where needed to fit around work and family life.

My practice is neurodivergent-friendly and I aim to provide both  a sensory and psychological safe space for clients where possible.

Practice description

Whatever the reason for seeking therapy I offer an inclusive, confidential, friendly and welcoming space for you to explore what may be troubling you at this time. My therapy approach is tailored to your needs and lived experience and focuses on how the past maybe showing up in the present and creating turmoil, distress or internal conflict.

Sometimes there may be a vague sense that something isn't right or this maybe unknown. You might be feeling stuck or disconnected, or struggling with traumatic memories, anger or feelings of abandonment, grief and loss.

It might even be hard to know what you might be feeling or what might be the cause. I hear you. Whatever is happening for you we can work together to restore a sense on peace and equilibrium again and we will work as team to explore your experience of self and with others within your family, workplace and environment.

You can expect respect, empathy, trust and some challenge from me as your therapist and I work clients in a somatic and holistic way; mind and body combined to support trauma recovery.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

For organisations looking for mental health, mindfulness (MBSR/MBCT) or neurodivergent training and consultancy support, please email me for further details.

My first session

Our first session will be an intake session where we get to know each other and agree our contract in safe and confidential setting.
