About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Rehana, a person-centred counsellor based in Morley. If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or worn down from carrying everything on your own, you’re not alone. Many people reach a point where they need a safe space to talk openly and feel truly heard. That’s the space I offer — one where you don’t have to have it all figured out or hold everything together.
My approach is calm, grounded, and genuinely down to earth. I won’t analyse you or rush you. I sit alongside you, listen closely, and support you gently as you explore what’s going on beneath the surface, always at your pace. You don’t need to have the “right words” — you can come exactly as you are.
Many people find that, over time, they begin to feel more comfortable talking things through and making sense of their feelings in a way that feels manageable. My aim is to create a space where you feel understood, settled, and supported, without judgement or pressure.
Practice description
I work with adults (18+) who may be experiencing anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, feeling overwhelmed, or going through life changes. Many people come to counselling feeling stuck, unsure where to turn, or carrying a lot on their own.
I offer person-centred counselling, which means sessions are led by you and what feels important to explore. There is no pressure to talk about anything before you feel ready, and we work at a pace that feels right for you.
I offer online, telephone, and face-to-face counselling in Morley, with easy access from Leeds, Batley, and Dewsbury. Sessions are 50 minutes. Online and telephone sessions are £35, and face-to-face sessions are £40.
I also offer concessionary rates for students and counselling trainees, and a free 20-minute introductory call for anyone who would like to ask questions or see whether working together feels right.
My first session
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to talk about what has brought you to counselling. There is no pressure to share anything before you feel ready.
I will explain how counselling works, answer any questions you may have, and we can explore together what you’re hoping for from the sessions. This is also a space for you to get a sense of whether working with me feels right for you.
There is no expectation to have everything figured out — we can take things gently and at your pace.
