About me and my therapy practice
I offer a child‑centred, trauma‑ and attachment‑informed approach to counselling. Using play, art, music and role play, I help children and teenagers explore their emotions in ways that feel safe and manageable. These creative methods give young people a way to express and process their feelings, especially when finding the right words is difficult. My aim is always to meet each child where they are, supporting them to make sense of their experiences and build emotional confidence at their own pace.
Practice description
I work with children and young people 3-18 years old using play and arts based therapeutic counselling. I have a private practice near Halesworth in Suffolk and provide a mobile school service. I offer weekly, fifty minute sessions of play and arts counselling and work collaboratively with parents and teachers to help guide young people through their difficulties.
My first session
I offer a free fifteen minute consultation to parents to see if this kind of therapy suits their child's needs. Before I start to see a child I have a parent consultation for an hour or so (see my website for pricing).
For schools I offer free phone calls and meetings for initial bookings.
