About me and my therapy practice
I offer a thoughtful, collaborative approach to counselling grounded in person-centred values and informed by humanistic and existential philosophy. Whether you're facing a specific difficulty or searching for a deeper understanding of yourself, I provide a professional space where meaningful reflection and lasting change can emerge.
I am a fully qualified counsellor (BSc in Counselling-University of East London, MA in Political Science-University of Napoli, Italy) with a great interest in being human. My academic background has shaped a lifelong research in understanding people, their culture, their values, their relationships and the complex ways in which we make sense of ourselves and the world around us.
My approach is integrative, drawing primarily on person-centred, humanistic-existential and psychodynamic traditions. Rather than believing that one model of therapy fits everyone, I work collaboratively with each client, adapting my approach to their unique circumstances while maintaining the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for meaningful change.
Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, loss, relationship difficulties, life transitions or simply feel that something is not quite right, therapy can offer a space in which these experiences can be explored safely and thoughtfully.
My practice, Harmonic Resonance Counselling, reflects the belief that psychological wellbeing often emerges when different aspects of our lives become better understood and more integrated.
My role is not to provide answers, but to accompany you with empathy, curiosity and professional integrity as we work towards greater clarity, resilience and personal growth.

Practice description
Beginning counselling can feel unfamiliar, and it is natural to have questions or uncertainties about the process.
My aim is to offer a calm, respectful and collaborative environment where you feel able to speak openly without fear of judgement or expectation.
My practice is inclusive and affirming of clients from diverse sexual, gender and relationship identities, including LGBTQIA+ and GSRD communities. I recognise that these aspects of identity are not inherently problematic and will never be approached as issues requiring explanation or justification. Instead, I seek to understand each client's unique experience within the broader context of their relationships, values and lived reality.
I see therapy as a conversation rather than a series of techniques. While psychological theory informs my work, I place equal importance on developing a genuine therapeutic relationship built on trust, authenticity and mutual respect.
Research consistently shows that the quality of this relationship is one of the strongest predictors of positive therapeutic outcomes.
Sessions move at your pace.
Some clients wish to focus on a specific difficulty, while others use therapy to explore broader questions concerning identity, relationships, purpose or personal development.
My role is to help you understand your experiences more fully.
I work with adults from diverse backgrounds and welcome people of all cultures, identities and relationship structures. I recognise that every person's life is shaped by unique experiences, values and circumstances, and I seek to understand each client within their own context.
Whether our work is short-term or open-ended, my commitment is to provide a reflective, thoughtful and dependable therapeutic space where meaningful change can emerge naturally through understanding, dialogue and self-discovery.

My first session
I offer a 30-minute initial online consultation at a reduced fee of £45. This meeting provides an opportunity for us to get to know one another, discuss what has brought you to counselling and consider whether we feel we could work together. There is no obligation to continue afterwards.
Choosing a counsellor is an important decision, and I believe that both client and therapist should feel comfortable before committing to ongoing work.
The consultation is therefore less about assessment and more about beginning a conversation. If we decide to continue, we will agree on practical arrangements such as session frequency, fees and any questions you may have about confidentiality or the therapeutic process.
Ongoing therapy sessions are 50 minutes long (£70) and provide a consistent space in which we can explore your concerns at a pace that feels right for you.
Many people feel anxious before attending their first appointment. This is entirely understandable. My intention is to create an atmosphere in which you feel welcomed, listened to and respected from the outset, allowing the therapeutic relationship to develop naturally.
I offer both in-person and online sessions, enabling therapy to remain accessible while providing flexibility to suit individual circumstances.
