About me and my therapy practice

I offer a calm, safe space where you can talk openly about whatever is on your mind. You don’t need to have all the answers or know exactly what to say, we can start wherever you are.

In our first session, we’ll explore what’s bringing you here, what’s challenging you, and what you hope to get from counselling. This helps us understand your situation and how best to work together. From there, we decide together what approach feels right for you, mixing reflection, practical tools, and support that matches your needs.

I use a variety of ways to help people, listening, practical strategies, exercises to manage thoughts or emotions, and coaching-style guidance when useful. Everything we do is tailored to you, so you have a say in how sessions go and what feels most helpful.

Over time, you can expect to gain more clarity about yourself, feel more confident in handling challenges, improve your relationships, and discover ways to feel calmer and more in control. Whether you’re exploring identity, relationships, work, or just trying to make sense of life’s challenges, the focus is always on supporting you in ways that feel real, practical, and safe.

Above all, my aim is to create a space where you feel understood, not judged, and supported to find solutions and insights that work for you.

Practice description

I provide online counselling sessions for people across the UK, and I welcome clients from anywhere who are comfortable working in UK time zones. My sessions are flexible to fit your schedule, whether that’s early mornings, evenings, or weekends.

When you work with me, you can expect a supportive and non-judgemental space. You don’t need to prepare or know exactly what to say, we start wherever you are. I listen carefully, help you explore your thoughts and feelings, and work with you to find strategies and insights that actually help in your day-to-day life.

My approach is integrative, meaning I draw on different ways of working depending on what suits you best. Some sessions focus on reflecting and understanding your experiences, while others include practical tools to manage stress, emotions, or challenges in relationships and work. I adapt every session to your needs, so you feel safe, understood, and supported at your own pace.

I have experience supporting people with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, low mood, work stress, relationships, identity, and personal growth. I also have particular experience supporting LGBTQIA+ clients and people exploring relationship diversity and kink, offering a space where these topics can be discussed openly and safely.

Above all, my goal is to help you feel heard, gain clarity, build confidence, and find ways forward that feel authentic and realistic for your life. Counselling with me is a collaborative process, together we decide what works best for you.

My first session

I offer a free 25-minute introductory session for all new clients. This session is a relaxed opportunity for us to get to know each other, talk about what brings you to counselling, and see if my approach feels like the right fit for you.

During this session, we can explore your goals, what you hope to gain from counselling, and any practical considerations such as how often sessions might take place and what schedule works best for you. It’s also a chance for you to ask questions about how I work, my experience, and the areas I specialise in, including LGBTQIA+ support and kink-aware counselling.

The introductory session is completely free, informal, and carries no obligation to continue. Its purpose is to help you feel comfortable, clarify what to expect from counselling, and decide whether we are the right match to work together.

All sessions are conducted online, giving you flexibility to attend from wherever you are and at times that suit your routine.
