About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome. Taking the step to seek counselling can be a brave decision, and I am committed to providing a supportive, warm and non-judgemental space. Together, we can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences, from your unique perspective, and work towards better understanding and positive change.
Practice description
I practice Person Centred counselling, an approach that adapts to the unique needs of each individual. Person Centred is a creative approach, and my background in the creative industries complements this.
I have worked in the NHS and other agencies supporting clients aged 14 to 84 from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of mental and physical health challenges.
I have experience supporting clients with a range of concerns, including neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, women’s issues, grief, postnatal depression, body dysmorphia, trauma, family difficulties, domestic abuse, health issues and addiction.
I have additional experience working with creative individuals and am developing a strong and growing understanding of neurodivergence, like ADHD, ADD, dyslexia and Autism.
My first session
I offer a complimentary 30-minute introductory session, allowing us to meet and discuss what you’d like to explore in therapy.
After that, sessions are 50 minutes long, online or by telephone and provide a space for you to discuss whatever feels most pressing. I’ll be there alongside you, supporting you as we explore whatever you’d like to focus on.
