About me and my therapy practice
I am a warm, friendly and personable counsellor based in Central London, offering a supportive and compassionate space where you can feel truly heard and understood. As an integrative therapist with a person-centred and psychodynamic approach, I tailor our work together to suit your individual needs, helping you explore both present challenges and deeper patterns that may be shaping your experiences.
My background includes extensive work within the education and criminal justice sectors, where I have supported individuals navigating complex and often traumatic life experiences. I specialise in trauma and have significant experience working with both children and adults, including those who are neurodivergent. I bring an informed, sensitive and affirming approach to neurodiversity, recognising and valuing each person’s unique way of experiencing the world. I also have experience supporting carers, including young carers, and understand the particular pressures and responsibilities this can bring.
I can support you with a range of difficulties, including trauma, anxiety, grief, relationship breakdown, and challenges around parenting—whether that’s navigating being a parent yourself or exploring your relationship with your own parents. I also offer space for inner child work, helping you gently reconnect with and understand earlier experiences that may still be influencing you today. Together, we can work towards building your self-confidence and helping you feel more secure in yourself.
Practice description
At the heart of my work is a simple ethos: that by understanding ourselves more deeply and learning to be kinder to ourselves, we can begin to live more fulfilling and meaningful lives. In today’s fast-paced world—where life can feel overwhelming and expectations, often shaped by social media, can seem impossible to meet—I aim to help you find a calmer, more grounded place within yourself.
Together, we will build a warm and trusting therapeutic relationship that supports you at your own pace. My aim is to provide a comforting, non-judgemental environment where you can explore, reflect, and begin to move forward with greater clarity and self-compassion. And, where appropriate, we may also make space for a little humour along the way—because sometimes life needs a moment of lightness and laughter to help us through.
My first session
I offer a free 15 min call by appointment. Then an initial 1. 5 session of 1 hr 15mins (chargeable at a one and half rate). This for an initial assessment and to see if we are a good fit for each other.
