I am flexible.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a person centred counsellor and coach based in Eastbourne, and I also work online with clients who live further away or who prefer online or phone sessions.

I offer private counselling to adults from all backgrounds (face to face, online or over the phone). Many people who come to me are going through a time in their lives that feels overwhelming, confusing, painful, or simply not fulfilling. You might not know exactly what feels wrong — only that something isn’t sitting right and you want space to explore it.

My foundation is person centred, but I always tailor my approach to your unique needs. I believe therapy should meet you where you are and unfold at your pace. My style is calm, steady and down to earth. I listen deeply, reflect gently, and walk alongside you as you explore what’s happening inside. My aim is to help you feel safe, supported, and more connected to yourself.

You don’t need to be in crisis to see a counsellor. Sometimes it’s simply about having space to talk, reflect, and understand yourself more clearly.

Practice description

I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation so we can get to know each other and see whether working together feels right for you. This short call gives you space to ask questions and share what’s bringing you to counselling.

My standard fee is £60 for a 50 minute session. I also offer concessionary rates (£25–£40) for people who may be struggling financially or on a tight budget. As a Community Interest Company, Quiet Courage Counselling is committed to keep support accessible. Concessionary spaces are available for people on low income, in challenging circumstances, or who would otherwise struggle to access counselling.

I work with people from many different backgrounds and with a wide range of issues. My approach is flexible and shaped around what you need. If you’re looking for support in understanding your experiences, building coping strategies, or finding a way forward, we can explore that together at your pace.

If you’re not sure what you need yet, that’s completely fain. We can gently unravel whatever is coming up for you. I believe you are the expert on your own self, and the answers often emerge naturally when you have a safe, steady space to explore. I will walk alongside you as you find clarity and reconnect with yourself.

If you feel this approach might suit you, we can discuss availability, and any concessionary options during your initial contact.

My first session

To help keep things simple and secure, I kindly ask that payment is made prior to each session. This allows us to focus fully on our time together without administrative distractions. Details for payment will be provided upon booking.

Our first full session will include time to go through a counselling agreement—a simple document that outlines how we’ll work together and ensures clarity for both of us. This usually takes no more than 10 minutes, and the remainder of the session is dedicated to whatever you wish to bring.

I won’t push you or take you anywhere you don’t want to go. You decide what feels important to explore and when to change direction. My role is to walk alongside you, offering support as you explore what feels right for you.
