About me and my therapy practice
My name is Heloise, and I am a qualified integrative, relational psychotherapist (MBACP) based in Crowthorne, Berkshire, offering both face-to-face and online therapy. Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile. I know that reaching out for therapy can feel daunting, and my aim is to make that first step feel as supported and approachable as possible.
I work with adults on an individual basis, offering a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and feel genuinely heard. Therapy with me is collaborative and led by your needs. My focus is on helping you make sense of what you are experiencing, understand what may be influencing it, and support you in finding ways forward that feel meaningful and manageable.
People come to therapy for many reasons. Whatever brings you, we can explore it together at your pace, in a space that feels safe, grounded and respectful.
My Approach
I work integratively and relationally, which means I draw on different therapeutic approaches and adapt the work to suit you as an individual. My practice is informed by humanistic, psychodynamic and existential ideas, alongside an understanding of trauma and the connection between mind and body.
I believe that our past experiences, particularly early relationships and losses, can continue to shape how we see ourselves, how we relate to others, and how we navigate life. Sometimes these patterns can leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of why we feel the way we do. Therapy offers a space to gently explore these experiences with curiosity and compassion.
The therapeutic relationship is central to my work. I see it as a place of understanding, safety and repair, where you can begin to understand your story more fully and move towards a stronger sense of connection with yourself and others. We will always work at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.
Practice description
My private practice is based in Crowthorne, Berkshire, and online. I work with adults on an individual basis, offering weekly 50-minute sessions. Therapy can be open-ended or time-limited, depending on your needs and circumstances.
My fee is £65 per session, with some concessions available. Please feel free to enquire for further information about fees, payment, and cancellation policy.
My Training
I hold an MA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Roehampton.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work in accordance with their ethical framework. I attend regular supervision and undertake CPD to expand and update my knowledge.
My Experience
I have experience working with adults across a range of settings, including a low-cost counselling service, the NHS, other community settings and within a national mental health charity.
My first session
Before starting therapy, I offer an initial introductory phone call. This gives us the opportunity to talk about what brings you to therapy, what you are hoping for, and whether working together feels right for you. It is also a chance for you to ask any questions you may have. If you decide to proceed, we will agree a regular session time for your first appointment.
