About me and my therapy practice
I’m Liam, a BACP Registered Psychotherapist with experience working both within the NHS and privately. I offer short and long-term therapy for adults (18+). Over the years, I’ve supported people from many different backgrounds as they navigate complex emotional challenges. I aim to offer you a space that feels safe, supportive, and genuinely collaborative, so you can explore what matters most to you at your own pace.
Practice description
I work integratively, drawing on humanistic and psychodynamic approaches to meet your individual needs. I hope to provide an opportunity for you to speak freely, reflect, and begin to make sense of what’s going on for you. Crucially, therapy is about recognising your unique story and finding ways to feel more empowered within it.
My own experience of therapy taught me that change often begins with awareness. Sometimes that means looking at how past experiences shape the way we relate to others today. At other times, it’s about finding clarity in the here and now. Whatever brings you to therapy, we’ll work together to understand what feels stuck and explore new ways forward.
My first session
It can feel really overwhelming to find a therapist, especially with so many options out there. Above all else, it’s important to find someone you feel comfortable with. If you’re considering therapy but unsure where to start, I offer a free 20 minute introductory call so we can talk through what you’re looking for and see if it feels like a good fit.
If we begin to work together, sessions are held weekly and last 50 minutes. I currently work both online and face-to-face in South London.
I’m regularly supervised by an experienced psychotherapist, which helps ensure that my work remains thoughtful, ethical, and in your best interest.
