About me and my therapy practice
Choosing a therapist is a meaningful step, and finding someone who feels like the right fit matters.
Sometimes life can appear to be running smoothly on the surface, yet internally there is a sense of dissatisfaction, uncertainty, or emotional exhaustion. And sometimes there isn’t one clear reason - just a feeling that something isn’t quite right.
Perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected from yourself, or struggling to make sense of certain patterns in your relationships. You might be carrying the impact of past experiences, feeling burnt out, or finding it difficult to care for yourself in the way you would like.
Perhaps something in your life is asking for attention, if so, you don’t have to navigate it alone.
My approach is relational, culturally sensitive, and emotionally attuned. Together, we’ll explore how your past experiences may be shaping the way you think, feel, and relate to others today.
In our work, I focus on creating a space where you can be yourself - a space where you don’t need to hide, perform, or have everything figured out. I aim to meet you with warmth, curiosity, and respect.
I welcome people from all backgrounds and identities, and I care deeply about equality, diversity, and inclusion. I have experience supporting clients with issues around culture, migration, gender, and identity. I am bilingual and offer therapy in both English and Polish.
Practice description
Each therapeutic process is unique - shaped around you and what feels most alive or important at the time. Our sessions offer a chance to slow down and make sense of what’s happening within you and in your life.
We’ll work collaboratively to understand your experiences, discover new perspectives, and, when helpful, find practical ways of coping with challenges. How we experience each other in therapy can also become a meaningful part of the process, offering insights that deepen your awareness and understanding.
Healing often begins with being seen and truly understood. For many people, therapy is the first space where this becomes possible - a place where you can bring your sadness, frustration, anger, hopes, and desires without judgment.
Therapy is more than problem-solving; it’s an act of self-care and a space that belongs entirely to you. Through gentle exploration and authentic connection, you can begin to make sense of your experiences, find relief, and cultivate new ways of relating to yourself and to others.
My first session
Therapy with me usually begins with a free 20-minute consultation, giving us an opportunity to briefly connect and for you to get a sense of how it might feel to work together.
If you decide to take the next step, we arrange an initial consultation and assessment session. This is a space for you to talk in more depth about what brings you to therapy, ask any questions you may have, and begin exploring what you might need from the process.
I will also ask some questions and share more about how I work. There is no obligation to continue after this session. If we both feel that working together is a good fit, we will agree on a regular weekly session time.
