About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling anxious? Stressed? Stuck? Struggling with relationships? I can work with you collaboratively, creatively and non-judgementally to explore how things might be experienced in new ways. Rather than interpreting your past, I will work with you to make sense of how things are now to widen your choices going forward. I am queer and strive to create an anti-oppressive practice.
Practice description
I’m a qualified gestalt counsellor, registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have worked with the mental health charity Mind, and at The Gestalt Centre London, and now practice online and in-person in Cambridge, London and Mexico City.
I have a background in academia (BSc Social Anthropology, MMus Music, PhD Sociology), have worked as a composer for film and theatre, and have experience of working with LGBTQ+clients and living across cultures. I work in English and Spanish.
My first session
The initial session is an opportunity for you and I to meet, for you to share what you hope to gain from therapy and for me to share how I work. If after this session, you decide that you would like to work with me and I think I can support you, then a commitment to further sessions can be agreed. The fee for the initial consultation is same as for other sessions.
