About me and my therapy practice
Thank you for being here and for taking a moment to view my profile.
Finding your way to counselling often begins with a quiet realisation that something isn’t quite right, or that you don’t want to carry things alone anymore.
Through my own lived experience, I understand how overwhelming grief, loss, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, workplace challenges, and life transitions can be, particularly when they’ve been held inside for a long time. Choosing to reach out for counselling is a meaningful and courageous step, and it’s natural for that to feel daunting.
Through my private practice 'Bourne to Thrive' I offer a warm, person-centred, and non-judgemental approach that places you and your lived experience at the heart of our work together. I believe in seeing the whole person — not only the challenges you’re facing, but also your strengths, resilience, and capacity for growth. My aim is to provide a welcoming and supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and safe to explore what’s troubling you, at a pace that feels right for you.
Practice description
I work with teenagers, young people, and adults, offering both short-term and longer-term counselling tailored to individual needs. Sessions are available in person, online, or by telephone.
My practice is based in a welcoming, fully accessible space in the heart of Eastbourne, just a short walk from the train station. The practice offers free onsite parking, lift access, and disabled toilet facilities.
If you’re considering counselling, I offer a free 15-minute consultation to help you decide whether it feels right for you. I believe counselling should be accessible, so fees are kept affordable and may be adjusted where needed following an initial assessment.
My first session
From the first session, the focus is on building a supportive and trusting working relationship. Counselling is a collaborative process, and together we’ll explore an approach that supports your journey towards growth, understanding, and change.
I provide a safe, affirming, and inclusive space for people of all identities and experiences. You are welcome here just as you are, without expectation or judgement.
