Background

I grew up in Germany and Spain, studied in Paris, and worked in Bangkok. Before training as a psychotherapist, I worked in learning and development, human resources, education, and the not-for-profit sector.

My multilingual and cross-cultural background informs my sensitivity to language, meaning, and cultural context within the therapeutic relationship. I practise in English.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, and extended family.

Practice description

I offer both short-term and long-term therapy, and work exclusively online.

My first session

Free 15-minute telephone consultation

Finding the right therapist is important. I offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation, giving us an opportunity to get a sense of each other and explore whether working together feels right.

Initial assessment session

Should you wish to proceed, we will arrange an initial assessment session, which may last up to two hours. This provides an in-depth opportunity to explore your life history, significant experiences, relationships, and the issues that have brought you to therapy, as well as what you hope to gain from the process.

Ongoing therapy

Should we decide to continue working together, sessions are usually held weekly and last 50 minutes.

If you have any questions or would like to arrange an initial conversation, please feel free to send me a message here or contact me by email at rochelle@rochellemarashi.com.
