About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I’m Morwenna. I work with adults who are experiencing periods of change, loss of direction, or emotional overwhelm. People often come to therapy when something in their life no longer feels settled, or when familiar ways of coping are no longer working.

I offer a calm, relaxed space to explore whatever changes you are going through. Here, you can pause, reflect, and set down what you have been carrying. Together, we can look at what no longer serves you, what old stories no longer fit, and what familiar patterns you may be ready to leave behind. Gradually, we can untangle your thoughts and feelings, helping you make sense of what is happening and what you might like to change.

I particularly support:

• Adults navigating life transitions, such as divorce, separation, retirement, career changes, or shifts in identity.

• Individuals experiencing anxiety, low mood, or grief, whether these feelings are recent or have been present for some time. Therapy can offer space to explore what is happening.

• Those affected by relationship difficulties and family dynamics, including challenges with partners, parents, children, or wider family relationships.

• Women experiencing hormonal changes or perimenopause, where emotional wellbeing, identity, and relationships may be affected in ways that are difficult to understand or manage.

• People healing from abusive relationships, who may be rebuilding trust, self-esteem, or a sense of safety.

You do not need to have a clear goal or know exactly what you want to work on. Whether you feel unsure about your next step, overwhelmed by your emotions, or stuck in patterns that no longer feel right, we can take time to understand what is happening for you.

I’m warm, gentle, and straightforward. If this sounds right for you, I invite you to get in touch for a free initial phone or online consultation. You can ask any questions you have and see whether we are a good fit. I’m also happy to answer questions by email.

Practice description

Therapy with me is warm, reflective, and person-centred. I aim to create a calm, supportive space where you can speak openly and feel genuinely listened to. I work collaboratively, adapting my approach to suit you as an individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all model.

While my core approach is person-centred, I draw on other evidence-based ways of working where they feel helpful. This means we can respond flexibly to what you bring, whether you want space to reflect, to understand patterns in your life, or to explore how past experiences may be influencing you in the present.

Together, we will:

• identify what matters most to you and what has led you to seek therapy

• explore thoughts, feelings, and patterns that may be affecting your wellbeing or relationships

• move at a pace that feels right for you, without pressure to rush or “fix” things

• check in regularly about how therapy feels and whether it is supporting you in the way you need

Therapy with me is not about quick fixes or ready-made solutions. Instead, it is about developing understanding, self-awareness, and compassion for yourself. From this place, change can happen in a way that feels meaningful and sustainable.
