About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Morwenna. I work with adults who are experiencing periods of change, loss of direction, or emotional overwhelm. You may be feeling unsettled or unsure of yourself, particularly if something in your life has shifted or no longer feels right. Familiar ways of coping may no longer be working, and there can be a sense of feeling caught between what was and what comes next.
I offer a calm, relaxed space to explore what you’re going through. Together, we can begin to make sense of change, gently noticing patterns or old stories that may no longer fit, and untangling thoughts and feelings that feel confusing or heavy.
I particularly support adults navigating life transitions and periods of uncertainty, including experiences such as divorce, separation, retirement, career change, or shifts in identity. I also work with people experiencing anxiety, low mood, or grief; relationship and family difficulties; emotional changes linked to hormonal transitions or perimenopause; and those healing after abusive relationships, including rebuilding trust, self-esteem, or a sense of safety.
You don’t need to have a clear goal to begin therapy. We can take time to understand what feels important for you now, at a pace that feels manageable.
I’m warm, gentle, and straightforward. If this sounds like it might be a good fit, you’re welcome to get in touch for a free initial phone or online consultation, to ask questions and see how it feels to talk together.
Practice description
Therapy with me is warm, reflective, and person-centred. I aim to create a calm, supportive space where you can speak openly and feel genuinely listened to. I work collaboratively, adapting my approach to suit you as an individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all model.
While my core approach is person-centred, I draw on other evidence-based ways of working when they feel helpful. This allows us to respond flexibly to what you bring, whether you want space to reflect, to notice patterns in your life, or to explore how past experiences may be influencing you in the present.
Together, we will explore what has led you to seek therapy and what matters most to you now, move at a pace that feels right for you, and check in regularly about how the work is feeling.
Therapy with me is not about quick fixes. Instead, it’s about developing understanding, self-awareness, and compassion for yourself, so that change can happen in a way that feels meaningful and sustainable.
My first session
The first session is a chance for us to meet and begin getting a sense of whether working together feels right for you. We can take time to talk about what has brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and any questions or concerns you might have.
I’ll also explain a little about how I work and answer any practical questions. There’s no expectation that you arrive knowing exactly what you want to talk about, and no pressure to share more than feels comfortable.
The first session isn’t an assessment, and there’s no need to prepare or complete lengthy forms in advance. My aim is to offer a calm, supportive space where you can begin to settle and see how it feels to talk together.

About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Morwenna. I work with adults who are experiencing periods of change, loss of direction, or emotional overwhelm. Many people come to therapy at a point where something in their life no longer feels settled, even if they can’t yet put into words what has shifted. Familiar ways of coping may no longer be working, and there can be a sense of feeling stuck between what was and what comes next.
I offer a calm, relaxed space to explore whatever changes you are going through. Here, you can pause, reflect, and set down what you have been carrying. Together, we can gently look at what no longer serves you, what old stories may no longer fit, and what familiar patterns you might be ready to leave behind. Over time, we can begin to untangle thoughts and feelings, helping you make sense of what is happening for you now and what you might like to change.
I particularly support adults navigating life transitions and periods of uncertainty, including experiences such as divorce, separation, retirement, career change, or shifts in identity. I also work with people experiencing anxiety, low mood, or grief; relationship difficulties and family dynamics; emotional changes linked to hormonal transitions or perimenopause; and those healing after abusive relationships, including rebuilding trust, self-esteem, or a sense of safety.
You do not need to have a clear goal or know exactly what you want to work on. Whether you feel unsure about your next step, overwhelmed by your emotions, or stuck in patterns that no longer feel right, we can take time to understand what is happening for you, at a pace that feels manageable.
I’m warm, gentle, and straightforward. If this sounds like it might be a good fit, you’re welcome to get in touch for a free initial phone or online consultation. This can be a chance to ask questions and see how it feels to talk together.
