My first session
I’m a qualified therapist offering a calm, supportive space where we can talk through your thoughts, feelings and experiences together, and begin to make sense of what’s been happening for you.
My aim is to create an environment where you can feel deeply heard, without dismissal or judgement.
People often come to therapy when life feels overwhelming or confusing, or when familiar ways of coping no longer seem to work. Our sessions offer time to slow down and reflect, at your own pace and without pressure or expectation. It helps to have a sense of what you’d like to work towards — even if that becomes clearer as we go.
The relationship we build can be a steady base for exploring what feels difficult, and for developing a more trusting relationship with yourself.
I work in an explorative, collaborative way, thinking together about what’s been happening and what you’d like to understand or change. My style is conversational and down-to-earth, offering warmth, compassion and respect throughout our sessions.
As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I practise to high professional and ethical standards, drawing on different therapeutic approaches depending on what feels most helpful for you, as every person is unique.
I support adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, loss, life transitions and the impact of past experiences.
