About me and my therapy practice
I’m a therapist working with adults, particularly men navigating work, responsibility, and relationships.
I’m interested in how people experience themselves, what they are carrying, and what happens in their relationships. Often these things are connected in ways that are not always obvious at first, and taking time to understand them can shift how things feel and how you respond.
As a Black therapist, I’m aware that race and culture can shape experience in personal ways. Where that feels relevant, we can explore how that shows up for you and the impact it has.
My approach is authentic, practical and non-judgemental. I use person-centred, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and existential approaches, depending on what is helpful.
There are times when you carry more than others see, when roles and responsibilities deplete you, or when you feel disconnected from relationships at work, at home, or in the world. The work is about understanding what is happening so you can find some clarity about what is actually sustainable for you.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent 25 years in business. That experience still informs how I understand work, responsibility, and the pressures many people carry.
My first session
I offer a free 15-minute introductory call.
The introductory call is a space to talk about what is going on for you and what you might want from our sessions. There is no expectation to arrive with everything worked out.
