Availability

I currently have availability for new clients and welcome enquiries from anyone considering beginning, or returning to, therapy.

My practice runs throughout the week, offering a range of appointment times. I aim to provide a flexible and accessible service where I can.

Walk and talk therapy sessions take place between 10am and 3pm.

Online and indoor therapy sessions take place between 3pm and 5pm with some evening availability on Thursdays.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a compassionate and experienced counsellor, rehabilitation therapist and wellbeing practitioner with over 20 years’ experience supporting people through emotional and physical recovery. My work is grounded in the belief that psychological wellbeing is deeply connected to our relationship with our bodies, our environment, and one another.

Alongside traditional talking therapy, I offer Walk and Talk counselling and outdoor movement-based sessions for clients who find it easier to reflect while moving and being in nature. Many people experience anxiety, low mood, or emotional distress as a sense of disconnection from their own bodies. Working outdoors can feel grounding, less intense, and supportive of reconnecting with oneself in a gentle, embodied way.

Practice description

My approach is relational, client-centred, and collaborative. I work at your pace, offering a calm, attuned presence and a space where you can feel met as a whole person — physically, emotionally, psychologically, and relationally.

Movement and being outdoors are not used as techniques to “fix” you, but as supportive conditions that can help insight, emotional regulation, and self-compassion emerge more naturally. For some clients, walking side-by-side reduces the pressure of face-to-face conversation and allows difficult feelings to be explored with greater ease.

I also work online to fit with what works for you at this time. It is not always possible to get outdoors.

My first session

Please email me in the first instance and I will reach out to arrange an initial 30 minute session, free of charge, online or on the phone.

In this session we will go through how I work with the intention of you getting a sense of whether you feel we are a good fit to work together.

We will then book in 50 minute sessions at regular intervals that work for us both.
