About me and my therapy practice

As an integrative practitioner, I don't believe that one size fits all. I draw from various therapeutic modalities to tailor the therapeutic process to the individual sitting in front of me, ensuring that our work together resonates with your specific needs and circumstances. My trauma-informed approach recognises the profound impact that past experiences can have on present-day functioning and relationships, and I work collaboratively with clients to create pathways toward healing at a pace that feels right for them.

Above all, I'm committed to creating a safe, trusting space where you can feel genuinely heard. If you seek compassionate guidance and a therapist who values meeting you exactly where you are, I welcome you to reach out.

Practice description

Life is dynamic and as such we must, at various stages of our lives, transform in order to grow and cope with the spectrum of experiences that we will encounter. The many difficulties (and potential traumas) of childhood can play major roles in our adult life, often without us being consciously aware of their influence. Unexamined habits and outdated thought patterns can cause havoc in our day-to-day lives and can really affect our relationships with ourselves and others. These difficulties and traumas can manifest as blockages to our potential. My aim is to assist you in locating these blocks, to understand them and to work through them to help unlock the positive potential within you.

I bring extensive experience and a deeply compassionate approach to my practice. My commitment to creating a safe, trusting therapeutic space where every individual feels genuinely heard has been the cornerstone of my work throughout my career.

My specialist areas include substance misuse, problematic drinking, and behavioural addictions such as sex addiction and problematic pornography use. I work extensively with survivors of domestic abuse, both male and female, and have a particular passion for supporting individuals who feel marginalised or unheard in society.
