About me and my therapy practice
You might be here because something just isn’t feeling right. Perhaps you’re anxious, overwhelmed, low in confidence, grieving, or finding relationships harder than usual. Maybe a change has knocked you off balance, or you’re stuck in patterns you can’t seem to shift — even though you’ve tried. You want space to breathe, make sense of your feelings, and feel more like yourself again.
Therapy offers a calm, confidential space to slow down and be heard by someone who will meet you where you are and walk alongside you.
I specialise in supporting people experiencing anxiety — including generalised anxiety, social anxiety, perfectionism, and the quiet pressure of always having to “hold it all together.” I also work with life transitions, grief, relational challenges, and the deeper questions of identity and self-worth.
My approach is warm, collaborative and thoughtful. I have experience in working both in private practice and as an in-house therapist in an NHS GP surgery. I integrate existential and psychodynamic thinking with person-centred, CBT and mindfulness-based approaches — gently exploring what lies beneath the surface and supporting change that feels sustainable, not overwhelming.
I offer online therapy as well as walk-and-talk sessions in Richmond Park. For many people, being outdoors helps them feel calmer, more grounded, and able to speak more freely than in a traditional therapy room. Some clients choose this format weekly; others blend it with online sessions.
When coping alone stops working, therapy can help. I’ll listen with care, help make sense of what’s been difficult, and support you to move towards steadier ground.
Practice description
Therapy with me is a collaborative and supportive process. I’ll offer a calm, non-judgemental space where you can talk openly, feel truly heard, and begin to make sense of what’s been difficult. I work at your pace — gently exploring the roots of what’s going on while also supporting you to find steadier ground in the present.
I specialise in working with anxiety in its many forms — generalised anxiety, social anxiety, panic, overthinking, and perfectionism — and often with people who appear to be coping outwardly but are feeling overwhelmed inside. Therapy can help ease the pressure of carrying it all alone.
Clients often come to me during times of transition, relationship strain, loss, burnout or low self-worth. Sometimes there isn’t one clear issue — just a sense of feeling stuck or disconnected from yourself or others. My role is to walk alongside you as we explore what matters and what might need attention, gently supporting you to reconnect with your own inner clarity and resilience.
I offer online sessions, in person sessions in Surbiton and walk-and-talk therapy in Richmond Park. Some people prefer the privacy and convenience of online or in-person work; others find that being in nature helps them feel more grounded and open. Walk-and-talk sessions take place at a relaxed pace, with space to pause or sit when needed. We’ll decide together what format and rhythm works best for you.
My first session
I offer a free 15-minute introductory call so we can briefly meet, talk through what’s bringing you to therapy, and see whether it feels like a good fit on both sides. There’s no pressure to decide anything on the spot — it’s simply a chance to ask questions and get a sense of how I work.
If we decide to go ahead, during our first session is 60 minutes and I’ll ask some gentle, structured questions to help us build a shared understanding of your story, your support needs, and what feels most important to focus on. It’s a collaborative conversation — you’re free to take your time and only share what feels comfortable.
From there, regular sessions are 50 minutes and typically take place weekly.
If you're unsure whether therapy is the right step, the free intro call is a good starting point — even a brief conversation can help bring clarity.
