About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative counsellor who works relationally, adapting my approach to meet the individual needs of each client. I draw on humanistic, psychodynamic and trauma-informed perspectives, offering a calm and supportive space where you can explore experiences at your own pace. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, heard, and understood. My role is to walk alongside you as we make sense of what you are going through and how it impacts your life.

If therapy is suitable and there is good potential for progress, sessions are held once weekly and last 50 minutes. I offer both short-term and long-term therapy, which is discussed with you and mutually agreed based on your needs, goals and readiness.

Practice description

Coming to therapy is a meaningful and often vulnerable step, and I aim to make the process feel as safe, steady and supportive as possible. I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what you’re experiencing, how it affects you, and what you hope might change. Together, we explore your story, your patterns, and the parts of you that may have felt unheard or overlooked. I take time to listen and understand, and we work at a pace that feels right for you.

My first session

Before beginning therapy, I offer an initial assessment, which is arranged via email. This meeting can take up to two hours and is a one-off fee of £110.

The assessment allows us to explore your history and current concerns in detail, understand what you are seeking from therapy, and consider whether counselling is appropriate at this time. It also gives us both the opportunity to see if we would be a good fit to work together and whether a strong therapeutic relationship can be established.

Following the assessment, if counselling feels suitable and I believe there is real potential for progress, I will then contact you to discuss the next steps and book your first session.
