About me and my therapy practice
I offer a warm, confidential space where you can slow down, breathe, and talk openly about what’s on your mind. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and paced around you. Together we can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgement and begin to make sense of what you're experiencing.
I work integratively, drawing mainly from Person-Centred therapy alongside elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and other approaches. This means our work is always tailored to your individual needs, helping you find ways forward that feel meaningful and realistic for you.
Counselling can help you to:
• manage anxiety and everyday stress more calmly
• improve relationships and communication
• develop greater self-understanding and self-compassion
• build confidence and emotional resilience
• navigate grief, loss, or significant life changes
I also work with trainee counsellors and offer concessionary rates.
Practice description
Alongside my general counselling practice, I also have a particular interest in supporting people working in the performing arts, film, television, and wider creative industries. With my own background in performing arts, I understand some of the unique pressures of creative work – including uncertainty, rejection, performance anxiety, and balancing identity with career.
Reaching out for support takes courage, and it can be the first step towards meaningful change. It would be a privilege to support you as you work towards greater clarity, confidence, and a life that feels more like your own.
My first session
I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation so we can explore what brings you to counselling, discuss your needs and expectations, and decide together whether working with me feels right for you. This is also a good opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have.
