About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome
I’m Chloe, a qualified person-centred counsellor.
I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), the UK’s largest professional body for counsellors and psychotherapists. This means I work in line with their high ethical and professional standards, ensuring you receive safe and trustworthy support. I also hold a full DBS check and professional indemnity insurance, so you can feel confident and at ease in our work together.
Practice description
I’m Chloe, a qualified person-centred counsellor.
I offer a calm, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can speak freely about whatever you’re experiencing. You might be feeling overwhelmed, unsure of your next steps, or simply wanting a place to pause and make sense of things. Wherever you find yourself right now, I’m here to listen with care and to support you as you navigate your own path.
At the heart of my work is building a genuine, trusting relationship. I believe that feeling truly heard and accepted can be deeply healing in itself. I won’t give advice or push you towards quick solutions; instead, I’ll walk alongside you as you explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. My aim is to help you feel supported, understood, and empowered, creating the conditions for meaningful self-understanding and personal growth.
I am a person-centred counsellor, which means that our sessions are guided by what feels most important to you. I work with empathy, authenticity, and respect, trusting in your capacity to find your own answers when the right support is in place. You are the expert in your own life, and therapy is a collaborative process shaped around your needs, values, and experiences.
Alongside my person-centred foundation, I have training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Existential therapy. Where helpful, I may gently draw on CBT techniques to explore patterns of thinking or behaviour that may be affecting how you feel day to day. I also integrate existential ideas to support reflection on meaning, identity, choice, and the challenges of being human. These approaches are always offered flexibly and thoughtfully, and only when they feel right for you.
Whether you’re seeking support for a specific difficulty or simply wanting space to explore yourself more deeply, I offer a warm, thoughtful, and supportive environment to begin that journey.
