About me and my therapy practice
About Me
I believe we all deserve to feel truly heard and that sometimes the smallest moments of connection can make the biggest difference. I’m a warm, approachable, person-centred counsellor offering a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore your feelings at your own pace.
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent eight years as a funeral director, supporting people through bereavement and loss. This experience gave me a deep understanding of grief in all its forms and the importance of having somewhere safe to express difficult emotions.
I have specialist training and experience in supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community and those who have experienced domestic or sexual violence. I also work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, and other challenges in life — always meeting each person with empathy, respect, and care.
How I Work
I offer one-to-one counselling sessions for adults (18+) both online and face-to-face, creating a supportive space to talk openly without fear of judgement.
I also offer a free 15-minute introductory call so we can see if we feel like a good fit before starting our work together. Please feel free to send an introductory email enquiry and we can arrange a call at a time that suits you.
