About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I offer counselling to adults, children and young people seeking support in a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential space. I hold a Diploma in Counselling and a Level 5 qualification in Counselling Children and Young People, and I am currently studying for an online Master's degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy with Bath Spa University.
I am sensitive to the ways our early experiences — particularly our earliest relationships — can shape how we feel and relate to the world. I believe the therapeutic relationship, built on trust, consistency, and genuine human connection, is at the heart of meaningful change. I offer a collaborative approach in which we explore together the meaning you make of your experiences, how these have affected your sense of who you are, and what values and ways of being are most important to you. I trained in integrative counselling, so I draw on a range of approaches to meet each client as an individual, tailoring my work to suit your needs and pace.
I have also worked in organisations and schools at secondary level in South West London, supporting individuals, families, children and young people. Listening as people uncover their experiences at different life stages has deepened my understanding of how our past relationships shape our current behaviour, our relationships now, and the way we feel about ourselves — alongside our environment and the responsibilities we hold as individuals.
Before training as a counsellor, I worked for a private equity firm, which gave me first-hand experience of the pressures of corporate life — long hours, tough deadlines, team dynamics, and office politics. I draw on this, and other areas of my life with family and friends, to support clients navigating the demands of modern life.

How I Work
I work online and also face to face with adults, children, and young people. I have experience supporting clients through grief and loss, including bereavement, as well as anxiety, anger, relationship difficulties, and the lasting impact of childhood experiences.
I am a registered member of the BACP and work in accordance with their Ethical Framework, with regular clinical supervision. I hold an enhanced DBS check, undertake continuous professional development, comply with UK GDPR, and am registered with the ICO as a data controller.
First Steps
Getting in touch can feel daunting, so we can begin with a free 15–20 minute phone call. You can tell me what you're looking for, ask any initial questions, and get a sense of who I am and my approach — giving you a feel for whether I might be the right person for you. If you are thinking about counselling and would like to find out more, please do get in touch. I would be very happy to have an initial conversation by phone or email, whichever feels more comfortable, to explore how we might work together.
My first session
What's next?
If you decide to move forward and work with we me we can book a 50 minute first session. In this appointment we can explore in a little more detail what brought you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. I'll ask you some questions about yourself and you'll have the opportunity to ask me about the therapeutic process. The first meeting is about getting to know one another with no obligation to continue - and together we can start to see what it might feel like to work together. If we both agree to move forward we'll agree a regular time to meet.
