I offer online and face to face sessions for daytime and evening appointments, Monday to Friday.
About me and my therapy practice
I truly appreciate how difficult it can be to take the step of reaching out and finding a counsellor who feels like the right fit.
I offer therapy for adults experiencing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, panic attacks, depression, loss and bereavement. I have a particular interest in working with relationship difficulties, including those rooted in early relationships, as well as childhood trauma and how these experiences can impact adult life.
I provide a calm, confidential and non-judgemental environment, where you can talk openly and at your own pace. You don't need to have the 'right words' or know where to start, we can explore things together.
Practice description
I work predominantly in a person-centred way, placing great importance on building a trusting therapeutic relationship based on genuine empathy, respect and acceptance.
As a fully qualified counsellor and a member of the BACP you can be reassured that my work is guided by high standards of ethics, training, and professional practice.
My first session
If it would be helpful, I can offer a free 20-minute telephone call before you book your first session. This gives you the opportunity to ask any questions and get a sense of whether I might be the right therapist for you, there’s no obligation to book afterwards.
