I currently have availability for new clients at my face to face practice in North Finchley (N12), North London; and nationally for online clients.

Sessions are available in person and online from Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 5pm. During weekends I can be available for occasional sessions and one offs.

I aim to respond to enquiries as soon as possible, although responses may occasionally take longer outside of working hours.

Any planned periods of leave or extended time away from practice will be communicated to existing clients in advance.

About me and my therapy practice

I offer counselling and trauma therapy for adults, providing a calm, supportive space where you can explore whatever brings you to therapy.

My approach may particularly suit people who feel overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, stuck in patterns they do not fully understand, or who find that traditional talking approaches have not fully addressed what they are experiencing.

People come to therapy for many different reasons. You may be experiencing anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, burnout, life transitions, difficult past experiences, or simply sensing that something in your life no longer feels sustainable.

My approach is integrative and psychodynamic, informed by trauma-informed practice and somatic work. Alongside talking about your experiences, I pay attention to how emotions, stress, and trauma can affect both the mind and body.

I work collaboratively and at a pace that feels manageable, recognising that building safety and trust is an important part of the therapeutic process. My aim is to offer a space where you can explore things honestly, develop greater self-understanding, and feel more connected with yourself.

Practice description

Beginning therapy can feel unfamiliar, and many people come to counselling unsure where to start. You do not need to arrive knowing exactly what is wrong or what you want to say.

I offer both short-term and longer-term therapy for adults, with sessions shaped around your individual needs rather than following a fixed structure or agenda.

Some people come wanting space to talk openly and feel heard, while others want support understanding relationship patterns, exploring difficult emotions, processing traumatic experiences, or making sense of how the past continues to affect the present.

Together we may explore thoughts, emotions, relationships, behaviours, physical sensations, or recurring patterns that feel important. Some sessions may feel reflective, others more practical, and sometimes therapy simply offers space to pause with experiences that can feel difficult to hold alone.

I see therapy as a collaborative process, where trust develops over time and where you are supported to explore things honestly and at your own pace.

My first session

I offer a free 15-minute introductory phone call where you can ask questions, briefly discuss what brings you to therapy, and get a sense of whether working together feels right for you.

Before our first session, I ask clients to complete a short form to gather some initial information and practical details.

All sessions, including the first session, last one hour. Our first session is an opportunity to explore what has brought you to therapy, what you would like support with, and any hopes or concerns you may have about the process.

We will also discuss practical aspects of working together, including confidentiality, session arrangements, how online sessions work and creating a space where you feel comfortable to engage in therapy remotely (if applicable), and any questions you may have.

The first session is as much an opportunity for you to decide whether I feel like the right therapist for you as it is for me to understand your needs.
