Where possible I offer a range of different appointment times to fit in with different needs or demands. Initially I suggest in-person sessions but can move to online if that is preferred.
I currently have Mondays, Thursdays or Saturdays available.
About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I believe therapy is a space where you can untangle what might be weighing you down. It is a place where you can rediscover your own resilience.
My approach is compassionate and collaborative, I work with you to explore some of your challenges and empower you to find your own way to heal and grow
I work with people facing anxiety, low mood, depression, relationship or family challenges, and life transitions. I also support those who simply want to understand themselves more deeply and work through some of life’s challenges.
Practice description
In our sessions, I bring warmth, curiosity, and gentle encouragement, tailoring therapy to meet your unique needs.
I am an integrative counsellor which means I draw from humanistic/ person-centred therapy, psychodynamic theory, CBT and mindfulness. I offer a safe, confidential space where you can speak openly and feel truly heard.
I offer talking therapy but we might use creative resources like paints or sand trays if appropriate.
My first session
I offer a free 15 minute telephone conversation to see what’s bringing you to therapy and your goals
Then the first session is discounted to £25 as this gives us both the opportunity meet and get a feel for how we would work together. Finding the right counsellor can be daunting and I want you to feel comfortable to share. The first session is where we will go through the assessment form and counselling agreement that I’ll send to you beforehand.
I would suggest committing to 4-6 sessions to start with but honestly this is your journey so there is no actual commitment, I just ask that you give me 48 hours notice to cancel.
