Availability

At present, I offer sessions on Thursdays between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm.

Please contact me to check current availability, as spaces can vary depending on ongoing therapy commitments.

Sessions can take place in person in Colchester or online, depending on what feels most suitable and convenient for you.

If you get in touch outside my working hours, I will respond as soon as possible within my next available working day. I do not provide crisis or emergency support, but I am happy to guide you towards appropriate services if you need urgent help.

If I plan to take any extended leave, clients are informed well in advance, and continuity of care is always considered carefully.

About me and my therapy practice

My approach is psychodynamic, which means I pay attention to both your present experiences and the deeper patterns and relationships that have shaped you. Together we explore how your past may still influence your feelings, behaviours, and ways of relating today. This can help bring new understanding, relief, and the possibility of lasting change.

I see therapy as a collaborative and reflective process. I offer a calm and accepting space where you can speak freely, without judgement or pressure. At times, we may look beneath the surface of what is being said to make sense of hidden feelings or recurring themes. I will not give you advice, but I will help you to understand yourself more deeply and to find your own voice and direction.

I work with children, young people, and adults, adapting the therapeutic space to each person’s needs. With younger clients, this may include creative or play-based techniques that help express feelings which are hard to put into words.

My work is trauma-informed and relational, guided by warmth, respect, and curiosity. I believe that healing begins when we feel truly seen and understood. Therapy can help you to make sense of your story, recognise your resilience, and create space for new ways of being and relating.

Sessions are usually held weekly, in person in Colchester or online.

I work in English, Lithuanian, and Russian, offering a culturally sensitive and inclusive approach.

Practice description

I offer counselling and psychotherapy in a calm, reflective space where clients can feel safe, respected, and listened to. My aim is to create an atmosphere of trust and openness, where you can begin to explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace.

I currently offer in-person sessions in Colchester, hiring comfortable and private rooms at Kingsland Church, Prettygate Library, or the YES Centre in the town centre — whichever location feels most convenient and comfortable for you. Each space is easily accessible and designed to support a confidential and nurturing environment.

While I believe the depth of the therapeutic process is often best supported in the room, I recognise that this is not always possible for everyone. I therefore also offer online sessions, usually for parent consultations or in circumstances where meeting face-to-face is not practical.

In exceptional cases, where a client’s health or mobility makes travel difficult, home visits may be considered following an assessment of suitability and safety.

Every client’s situation is unique, and I try to adapt the setting and rhythm of our work to what feels most supportive. Whether we meet in person or online, you can expect a professional, compassionate, and non-judgemental approach.

My first session

I offer a free initial consultation to give you the opportunity to see how it feels to talk with me and to ask any questions about the way I work. This first meeting also helps me to understand what brings you to therapy and whether my approach is the right fit for your needs.

During this session, we will explore what you hope to gain from therapy, discuss practical arrangements such as session times and format (in-person or online), and talk about confidentiality and how the therapeutic process works. There is no obligation to continue after this meeting — it’s a space for us both to decide if we can work together comfortably and effectively.

If we agree to continue, future sessions will take place weekly and last 50 minutes, at the rate of £50 per session.

For children or young people, the first session may include a brief parent consultation, either together or separately, to ensure that we understand the young person’s background, needs, and goals.
