About me and my therapy practice

I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist working with young adults and adults who feel overwhelmed, unseen, or stuck in repetitive patterns, and who may feel hurt or worried about their relationships and future. At times, life can throw a lot at us. You might be managing on the outside, keeping up with daily life, while inside carrying stress, anxiety, or a sense that something doesn’t quite feel right. You don't have to carry that alone. I offer a warm and inclusive space where you can slow down, reflect and speak openly about your thoughts and feelings, reconnect with yourself and move from overthinking and fear towards living more fully.

Rather than focusing only on reducing symptoms, we will take time to understand what is beneath them, how your past and present relationships shape the way you feel, relate, and respond, bringing awareness to patterns that may feel beyond your control. Over time, this work can help you develop greater self-awareness, improve your relationships, find more authentic ways of living and navigate difficult emotions.

I hold an MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy from Birkbeck, University of London. Over the past six years, I have worked across a range of settings, including suicide prevention charities and within Higher Education and the mental health sector. I have completed additional professional training in working with suicidal ideation, self-harm, and survivors of relational trauma.

Alongside my private practice, I work as a counsellor at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I work extensively with artists and creative individuals, as well as people going through significant life transitions: immigration, career changes, endings, loss, and questions of identity.

Practice description

I work one-to-one with adults and young adults, both in person and online. Sessions last 50 minutes and take place weekly. Alternative arrangements, such as longer or fortnightly sessions, can be discussed during the initial consultation.

My first session

We can begin with a free 25-minute introductory call, offering a space to talk about what brings you to therapy. During this conversation, you’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions and get a sense of how I work, and whether this feels like the right space for you.

After the call, you’re welcome to book a 60-minute initial consultation, offering a space for us to explore what working together might look like.

There is no expectation to commit to further sessions. Finding the right help can feel confusing, especially if you’re not yet sure what you need. A one-off assessment session can offer space to reflect and consider what kind of support might feel right for you.
