Availability
I organise my private practise around my role at the Cardinal Clinic, a private psychiatric clinic. As such, I am primarily available in the evenings, with a limited number of daytime spots.
About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes the ways we have learned to survive no longer help us to thrive. I offer a dedicated space to understand the deeper roots of your distress and to rediscover a sense of agency in your life.
As a psychodynamic psychotherapist, my approach is built on the understanding that we all carry hidden wounds—whether from childhood experiences, family dynamics, later losses, or life’s many frustrations. We often develop unconscious strategies to "treat" these wounds. Some may turn to substances, others may channel anxieties into work or relationships, while others simply disconnect from their emotional world.
If you are reading this, it may be because these strategies are no longer serving you. You might be facing an external crisis, such as a bereavement, addiction, or the breakdown of a relationship. Alternatively, you may simply feel trapped by long-standing patterns and dynamics that prevent you from living fully.
Moments where we feel on the verge of "breaking down" are actually powerful opportunities to reform our relationship with ourselves. My goal is to support you in integrating your past experiences with your current self. This work goes beyond making the present bearable; it helps us find meaning and beauty even in our most painful parts.
Practice description
I work with clients on long or short-term bases, online or in person, from my regular rooms in Chelsea, Calpham and Richmond.
My first session
I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation, during which we can briefly discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and whether I am the right clinician for you. If you choose to move forward with me after this call, we will arrange an initial session to get to know each other more deeply and discuss the scope of our work together.
