About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m Jannan, a registered psychodynamic psychotherapist. I offer a warm, reflective space where you can feel truly heard and supported as you explore your inner world. My aim is to create a safe environment where you can slow down, think deeply, and make sense of the emotions and patterns that may be shaping your life.
I have over eight years of experience working and studying in psychology and mental health.
My training is rooted in psychodynamic and relational approaches, and I hold four university qualifications from Brunel University London, City University of London, and Birkbeck University of London. These experiences help me stay thoughtful about both your present concerns and the unconscious processes that may sit beneath them.
In our work together, I offer a collaborative space where we pay attention not only to what you bring each week, but also to the feelings, memories and relational patterns that emerge over time, including those that may show up between us. Therapy can become a place to understand yourself more deeply, to find new perspectives, and to reconnect with parts of you that may have felt unheard or overlooked.

Practice description
In my practice, I offer a calm, confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings with support and depth. Working from a psychodynamic approach, I pay attention both to your present concerns and to the underlying patterns and experiences that may be shaping them.
Therapy with me is collaborative and reflective. I listen carefully and help you slow down, notice what’s happening beneath the surface, and make sense of emotions that may feel confusing, overwhelming, or difficult to express. You can expect a steady and thoughtful presence, and a space where you feel heard and taken seriously.
I work with a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, identity concerns, stress, and times of feeling stuck or unsure of yourself. Some people come knowing what they want to explore; others simply feel something isn’t right. Both are welcome.
Sessions are held once weekly to support continuity and depth. As trust develops, we may also reflect on what emerges in the therapeutic relationship itself, as this can offer valuable insight into your inner world.
My aim is to help you understand yourself more fully and find new ways of relating to your feelings, your relationships, and your life experiences.
My first session
Our first session will be an initial consultation, giving you space to share what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the process. It’s also a chance for you to get a sense of how I work and to ask any questions you may have.
We will meet online in a private and confidential setting, where you can speak freely and at your own pace.
After this session, you can take time to consider whether you feel comfortable working together. If you decide to continue, we will agree a regular weekly time and begin to think about how our sessions can best support you.
