About me and my therapy practice
I’m a warm, compassionate Chartered Psychologist and therapist (MBACP) offering online therapy and in-person sessions in North and Central London. I support people to understand and process patterns shaped by past and present experiences, and develop greater self-trust, emotional flexibility, and choice.
My approach is tailored to your needs. I draw on perspectives including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), humanistic psychology, psychodynamic and attachment theory, neuroscience, and trauma-informed practice. We’ll find a thoughtful way of working together that feels right for you.
Alongside therapy, my training as a Coaching Psychologist allows me to support change and meaningful action when the time is right. For some people, therapy involves making space for pain, uncertainty or grief, while gently building a sense of safety, steadiness and self-compassion. For others, it becomes about translating insight into movement: taking steps toward what matters, experimenting with new ways of being, and making changes that feel aligned with their values. We can hold both, without rushing either.
Although my work is informed by theory and evidence, shaped by my background as an academic psychologist, my priority is always a kind, honest, down-to-earth relationship. I’m never sitting across from you wondering 'what’s wrong with you'; I’m curious about what you’ve lived through, how you’ve adapted, and the strengths and resources that have helped you survive and get to this point.
My first session
Starting therapy can feel daunting, especially if you’re feeling sad, anxious, confused, angry, or if trust feels difficult. You don’t need the right words or a neatly packaged problem. I offer a calm, compassionate space where we can go at your pace, make sense of what you’re carrying, and reconnect with what feels authentic.
Some people come for focused, time-limited work; others choose to work together longer term. We can talk about what feels right for you. You’re welcome to reach out for a free initial chat if that would feel helpful.
If we feel we’re a good fit, our first session will be a gentle assessment. We’ll talk in more detail about what’s brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and how we might work together.
My in-person fees range from £80–£110 per session, depending on appointment time and practice location. Online (video) sessions are offered at a lower rate. Sessions are 50 minutes in length.
I aim to balance accessibility with sustainability and therefore hold a small number of concessionary and reduced-fee slots, based on individual circumstances and subject to availability. You’re welcome to get in touch to discuss whether this might be appropriate for you.
