About me and my therapy practice

I  am an experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist and counsellor. I hold a MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy and PGCertHE in Psychodynamic Counselling from Birkbeck, University of London.

I am an experienced BACP-registered psychodynamic psychotherapist. I offer a warm, accepting, and confidential space for reflection. By exploring patterns of thought, feelings, and relationships, we can begin to understand the deeper roots of present struggles and open new possibilities for change. My work is relational, meaning I see the therapeutic relationship itself as a central part of the work. Together, we pay attention to what unfolds between us, as this often offers valuable insight into how you experience yourself and others. Psychodynamic psychotherapy is particularly effective for people who seek to understand themselves more deeply and address recurring patterns in their lives.

In addition to my post-graduate qualifications, I have completed professional training courses in working with eating disorders, ADHD, autism, suicidal ideation, and the menstrual cycle. I have trained as a recovery coach to support people in recovery from substance abuse disorders and eating disorders.

Alongside my private practice, I work as a counsellor for Wellbeing in the Arts, an organisation that offers affordable mental health and wellbeing support to organisations, productions, and individuals across the creative industries.

Practice description

I offer an initial free 20-minute phone consultation. I will introduce myself and answer any questions you might have. We can think together about whether this therapy feels right for you.

If you decide to continue, we will schedule an initial 75-minute assessment session. This longer session will allow us time to discuss your personal history and what has brought you to therapy.

I work one-to-one with adults on a weekly basis both online and in-person.

Fees will be discussed during the assessment. I have a number of spots allocated for those in financial need and I am committed to working together to find a fee that works for you.
