About me and my therapy practice

I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist experienced at  supporting clients through complex emotional, psychological, and relational challenges. I offer a warm, accepting, and confidential space for reflection. By exploring patterns of thought, feelings, and relationships, we can begin to understand the deeper roots of present struggles and open new possibilities for change.

Psychodynamic therapy is a therapeutic approach interested in exploring unconscious processes and emotional patterns that shape behaviour, thoughts, and relationships. It emphasises understanding the deep, often hidden influences from past experiences, especially early childhood and family dynamics, that continue to affect individuals in their present lives. This approach can help you develop greater self-awareness, improve your relationships, manage difficult emotions more effectively, and find more authentic ways of living. It’s particularly effective for people who seek to understand themselves more deeply and address recurring patterns in their lives.

I hold a MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy from Birkbeck, University of London. In addition to my post-graduate qualifications, I have completed professional training courses in working with eating disorders, ADHD, autism, suicidal ideation, and the menstrual cycle. I have trained as a recovery coach to support people in recovery from substance abuse disorders and eating disorders.

Alongside my private practice, I work as a counsellor for Wellbeing in the Arts, an organisation that offers affordable mental health and wellbeing support to organisations, productions, and individuals across the creative industries.

Practice description

I offer short and long-term therapy for adults, both online and in-person. I offer an initial free 20-minute phone consultation. I will introduce myself and answer any questions you might have, and we can think together about whether this therapy feels right for you.

About me and my therapy practice

I am an experienced BACP-registered psychodynamic psychotherapist. I offer a warm, accepting, and confidential space for reflection. By exploring patterns of thought, feelings, and relationships, we can begin to understand the deeper roots of present struggles and open new possibilities for change. My work is relational, meaning I see the therapeutic relationship itself as a central part of the work. Together, we pay attention to what unfolds between us, as this often offers valuable insight into how you experience yourself and others. Psychodynamic psychotherapy is particularly effective for people who seek to understand themselves more deeply and address recurring patterns in their lives.
