About me and my therapy practice
Are you struggling to make sense of your identity — who you are, who you love, or where you belong? Perhaps you are navigating questions around gender or sexuality or carrying a quiet sense of not quite being who you want to be. You don’t have to work this out alone.
I help people who are uncertain of who they are or where they belong — often feeling the gap between who you think you should be and who you actually are. I offer a space to explore your sense of self openly — your background, your relationships and the parts of you that have never quite had room to breathe. Together we can make sense of what has shaped you and support the process of becoming more fully and authentically yourself.
Drawing on 20 years of working internationally in the performing arts and my clinical experience (Mind, university counselling, Albany Trust, Age UK), I bring a broad understanding of identity, cultural difference and belonging. I welcome people from all cultural backgrounds and ages, LGBTQIA+ clients and those who are neurodivergent.
Je propose également des séances en français.
Practice description
I offer talking therapy — a space to say out loud the thoughts and feelings that can be hard to put into words, or that you have never quite been able to share with someone. I offer a warm space where you can speak freely and allow your thoughts to flow without judgment. I will guide you, but the pace is always yours.
I work psychodynamically, which means we pay attention not just to what is troubling you in the here and now, but try to understand the patterns and experiences that may be shaping it. Clients describe me as caring, curious and attentive — I listen carefully and reflect back what I notice, and at times gently challenge you. Together we work towards helping you align more closely with who you really are.
Sometimes that means sitting with something difficult together. Sometimes it means finding language for feelings that have never quite had room to breathe.
Therapy can be short-term or longer-term with no fixed end date — we decide together what feels right when we first meet.
My first session
Getting started can feel daunting, so I offer a free initial 20-minute phone call — a no-commitment chance for you to ask any questions, and for me to hear a little about what has brought you here.
If you wish to continue, we will then have two consultation sessions. These are a chance to explore what it feels like to work together, to hear in more detail about your reason for coming to therapy and to check that we would be a good fit. At the end we decide together whether you'd like to continue with therapy.
I offer the option of a reduced rate when booking and paying for both consultations in advance: two sessions for £136 (saving £24). After the consultations, sessions are invoiced monthly

About me and my therapy practice
Do you feel uncertain of who you are, or where you belong? Perhaps you are carrying a quiet sense of not quite being who you want to be — struggling to make sense of what you feel, who you love, or where you fit in the world. You don't have to have it all figured out to start therapy. I'm here to help you make sense of those complicated feelings.
I have a particular interest in questions of identity — around gender, sexuality, cultural heritage, family expectations, or a sense of feeling stuck or not quite yourself. I welcome LGBTQIA+ clients and those who are neurodivergent. I also bring specialist understanding of the performing arts world — including the particular pressures of creative life, performance and working internationally.
I hold an MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy from Birkbeck, University of London. I currently work as a counsellor at Mind and have previously worked in a university counselling service, at Albany Trust (a charity supporting LGBTQIA+ clients), and with Age UK.
Je propose également des séances en français.

About me and my therapy practice
I help people who are struggling with loss and bereavement. I offer a space to talk openly about who or what you have lost and what they meant to you — the relationship, the memories, the things left unsaid. Together we can make sense of the complicated feelings that grief brings, and work towards finding a new balance in yourself and your world.
Loss takes many forms - some expected, some sudden. It might be the death of someone close to you, or of a beloved pet. It might be the end of a relationship, a career, a home, or a chapter of your life you had counted on. Grief can bring feelings you didn't expect, not just sadness, but guilt, relief, anger, longing, or a sense of not knowing who you are anymore. Whatever has brought you here, you don't have to carry it alone.
I have worked with grieving adults of all ages, supporting them through loss and life transitions — in a university counselling service, with Age UK Dacorum and at Mind. Many have found that talking to someone outside their personal life gives them a freedom they don't have with family or friends — a space to say the things that feel too difficult, too complicated, or too raw to share with those closest to them, who might also be grieving.
Je propose également des séances en français.
Practice description
Grief can be an isolating experience. The people around you who might usually offer support may themselves be affected by the same loss — and others may not know what to say or avoid the subject altogether. This can leave you feeling very alone with what you are carrying.
I offer a space where you can speak freely and without judgment. I work psychodynamically, which means we pay attention not just to what you are experiencing now, but to how your history and earlier losses may be shaping your grief today. Clients describe me as caring, curious and attentive — I will guide you, but the pace is always yours.
Therapy can be short-term or longer-term with no fixed end date — we decide together what feels right when we first meet.
