About me and my therapy practice

I offer individual counselling for adults experiencing relationship strain, family conflict and communication difficulties. You may feel stuck in repeated arguments, unheard in your relationship, or unsure how/why family patterns continue to shape your life and often, anxiety, low mood or emotional overwhelm sit alongside these struggles.

My work focuses on helping you feel more emotionally safe, within yourself and in your relationships. Together, we explore the patterns that keep you stuck, including early family experiences, boundary difficulties or fear of conflict. Understanding these dynamics can create space for healthier communication and more confident decision-making.

I provide a calm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can speak openly about what is really happening. At the same time, I work actively and collaboratively. I will gently challenge unhelpful patterns and support you in building stronger boundaries, clearer self-expression and greater emotional stability.

You do not need to attend therapy as a couple to begin making meaningful change. Individual counselling can offer clarity, steadiness and renewed confidence in how you move forward.

I work face-to-face in Kingswinford and online across the UK.

Practice description

Many clients come to me feeling emotionally exhausted by their relationships. You may be walking on eggshells, carrying resentment, or questioning your own reactions. Others feel pulled back into old family roles or struggle to set boundaries without guilt.

In our sessions, you can expect warmth, steadiness and thoughtful exploration. We will look at what is happening now, how past experiences may be influencing present relationships, and what emotional safety could look like for you.

Therapy with me is not about blaming others or rushing decisions. It is about helping you feel clearer, calmer and more grounded so you can respond rather than react. Whether you are navigating conflict, distance, or uncertainty about the future, we work at a pace that feels manageable and respectful.

Sessions are 50 minutes and can be short-term or open-ended. I offer in-person counselling in Kingswinford and online sessions throughout the UK.

About me and my therapy practice

I offer individual counselling for adults affected by chronic illness and caregiving responsibilities. This may mean living with a long-term health condition yourself, or supporting a partner, parent or child through ongoing illness.

Chronic health challenges can affect every part of life... relationships, identity, work and emotional wellbeing. Many people experience anxiety, exhaustion, resentment, guilt or low mood alongside the practical demands of care and often these feelings go unspoken.

My approach provides a calm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore the emotional impact of long-term stress. We look at how caregiving roles, health changes or uncertainty may be shaping your sense of self and your relationships.

I work collaboratively and thoughtfully, helping you feel more emotionally steady and safe. Together we build clearer boundaries, healthier coping strategies and space for your own needs, not just those of others.

Sessions are available face-to-face in Kingswinford near Brierley Hill Dudley DY5 and online across the UK.

Practice description

Living with chronic illness or supporting someone who is unwell can be isolating. You may feel invisible in your role, overwhelmed by responsibility, or unsure who you are beyond the diagnosis or caregiving duties.

In our sessions, you can expect warmth, steadiness and a space where your experience matters. We will explore how ongoing health challenges are affecting your emotional wellbeing, including anxiety, stress, relationship strain or feelings of loss.

Therapy is not about fixing the illness or forcing positivity. It's about helping you process the emotional weight you may be carrying, develop resilience and create sustainable ways of caring for yourself alongside others.

Whether you are newly adjusting to a diagnosis or have been in a caregiving role for many years, support can help you regain balance and clarity.

I offer 50-minute sessions in Dudley and online.

About me and my therapy practice

Counselling isn’t about fixing you. It’s about creating a space where you don’t have to hold everything together, and where you can begin to build understanding, resilience and self-compassion at your own pace.

I'm Simone Bell, a qualified counsellor offering face to face counselling in Kingswinford and online UK-wide.

You may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in constant overthinking, as though your mind never truly switches off. You might feel on edge, emotionally drained, or quietly struggling with low mood, self-doubt or relationship difficulties. Many people I work with appear to be coping on the outside, while inside feeling exhausted, disconnected, or unsure of who they are anymore.

I work in a collaborative and person-centred way, offering a warm, safe and non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever feels important to you. Our work is led by your needs and experiences, rather than a fixed agenda, and we move at a pace that feels right for you.

My aim is to support you in making sense of your thoughts, emotions and patterns, and to help you find steadier, more compassionate ways of coping when life feels overwhelming, confusing or stressful. I place great importance on the therapeutic relationship, as I believe feeling genuinely heard, understood and emotionally safe is central to meaningful change.

Together, we may explore both present-day challenges and past experiences, always with care and sensitivity. Counselling with me is a space for reflection, honesty and growth, supporting you to reconnect with yourself and move forward in a way that feels authentic and sustainable for you.

Practice description

My approach is integrative and flexible, meaning your needs shape the process rather than being forced to follow a rigid model. This means some sessions may focus on talking and emotional exploration, while others may be more reflective or practical, depending on what feels most helpful for you in the moment.

I also draw on person-centred principles alongside elements from my therapeutic coaching background to support clarity, confidence and forward movement.

I'm not a counsellor that will just sit there silently and nod so whilst I will listen deeply and with genuine curiosity, I will also offer thoughtful reflections, gentle challenge and honest feedback when it feels appropriate and helpful. Many clients tell me they value this balanced way of working, somewhere they feel truly understood and supported to grow.

I work with adults and young people (16+) from all backgrounds, including those navigating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, loss, long-term stress and major life transitions. I also have experience supporting carers and people affected by chronic illness, where complex emotional and identity dynamics often intersect.

If it feels right for you, I offer a free, informal consultation so we can talk about how we might work together and see if we are a good fit.
