About me and my therapy practice
My priority is creating a safe, compassionate, and trauma informed space where you can explore your feelings and experiences at your own pace. I believe that every person carries wisdom and resilience within them, and my role is not to fix you or tell you what to do, but to walk alongside you with empathy, respect and without judgement.
As an integrative counsellor, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches and tailor our work to meet your individual needs.
My practice is rooted in Person-Centred Therapy, where you are respected as the expert of your own experience. This approach supports emotional safety, helping your nervous system move out 'high alert' and allowing deeper healing to take place.
When helpful, I gently integrate elements of Transactional Analysis and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. This allows us to explore early life patterns, relationships, thoughts, emotions, and behaviours in a way that feels supportive rather than overwhelming.
My work is collaborative and guided by what feels right for you.
Practice description
In our sessions, you will be met with warmth, compassion, and non-judgement. I offer calm and supportive environment where you can bring your emotions, uncertainty, fears, and hopes exactly as they are.
Your well-being is my priority, and you can expect me to listen deeply, and respectfully, helping you to feel seen and heard. Together, we will gently, at your pace, explore what you are going through.
I work with adults experiencing a variety of challenges, including the effects of childhood trauma, emotional neglect and abandonment, narcissistic abuse, anxiety, and low mood offering a safe space to explore these experiences.
These are just some of the challenges I support my clients with. You are welcome to get in touch to discuss your individual situation.
Our session may involve:
- Exploring emotions, thoughts, and patterns with curiosity and kindness.
- Gaining insight into triggers and how your nervous system is responding.
- Learning ways to soothe and regulate yourself with compassion.
- Strengthening your sense of self, boundaries, and self-worth.
- Developing practical tools at your pace.
My first session
I offer a free 15-minute introductory call.
This is an opportunity for us to connect, for you to ask any questions, and to get a sense of whether working together feels right for you.
There is no pressure or obligation to make a booking after this call.
First session lasts 50 minutes and is a gentle introduction to our work together.
We will:
- Talk about what has brought you to counselling and agree and sign a counselling contract.
