Availability
I currently have availability for in‑person sessions in Grimsby, as well as online therapy for clients across the UK. I offer afternoon, early‑evening and weekend appointments, with some flexibility around these times so we can find something that works well for your life and responsibilities.
My in‑person sessions take place in a calm, private space in DN32, where you can slow down, breathe, and talk freely without pressure. Online sessions are held via secure video, offering the same warmth and depth from wherever you feel most comfortable.
If I am due to take any planned time off, I will always let you know in advance so we can work around it together.

About me and my therapy practice
How I Work:
Allowing you to feel heard, accepted and understood is at the heart of my practice. I know that reaching out for counselling can feel daunting, especially when life already feels heavy. I offer you a calm, steady presence where you can talk freely, go at your own pace, and begin to make sense of what you’re carrying.
A Person‑Centred Foundation, Deepened by ACT:
I’m a Registered Member of BACP and an Accredited Registrant with the NCPS. My core training is in the person‑centred approach, and I’ve also completed Steve Hayes’ Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Immersion training. This blend allows me to support you in relating to difficult thoughts and feelings with more openness and compassion, while gently exploring what truly matters to you and how you want to move towards it.
Experience and Background:
I work with adults aged 18 and over. My experience includes working within NHS Talking Therapies, supporting people with anxiety, stress and depression. I’ve also supported unpaid carers and individuals navigating homelessness, and I bring a deep respect for the resilience people carry in challenging circumstances.
Through my work as a social prescriber, I’ve supported people living with long‑term health conditions, chronic pain, and physical health challenges such as fibromyalgia, diabetes and COPD, and I understand how these experiences can affect emotional wellbeing.
Who I Support:
People often come to me when they feel overwhelmed, stuck, lost, or unsure how to move forward. You might be struggling with self‑doubt, low self‑esteem, a life transition, or a sense that you’ve lost touch with who you are. You don’t need to arrive with the “right” words — we can begin exactly where you are.
My Therapeutic Style:
My style is warm, grounded and compassionate. I won’t rush you or push you into places you’re not ready to go. Instead, we’ll explore your experiences together with curiosity and care, creating space for clarity, self‑understanding and gentle change.

In‑Person Sessions in DN32:
I offer 50‑minute in‑person sessions from a quiet, private space in the heart of Grimsby, easily accessible from Cleethorpes and the surrounding areas. It’s a calm, grounding environment where you can step away from the noise of daily life and settle into a space that’s just for you.
Online Therapy Across the UK:
I also work online with clients anywhere in the UK, using secure video sessions that offer the same warmth, depth and presence as being in the room together. Online therapy can be especially helpful if you need flexibility around work, caring responsibilities, health or mobility.
A Flexible, Supportive Approach:
I offer afternoon, early‑evening and weekend appointments, with some flexibility around these times. Whether you prefer the steadiness of an in‑person space or the convenience of online sessions, we can explore what feels most supportive for you.
What You Can Expect:
Sessions last 50 minutes and unfold at your pace. You don’t need to prepare anything or arrive with the “right” words — we begin exactly where you are. During our initial contact, we can talk through what you’re looking for, your preferred way of working, and any practical considerations that might help you feel at ease.
An Invitation:

My first session
Your Introductory Call:
Before we begin working together, I offer a free 15–30 minute introductory call by telephone or online. This is a gentle, no‑obligation space where you can share a little about what’s bringing you to therapy, ask any questions, and get a sense of whether my way of working feels right for you. There’s no pressure to decide anything on the spot — it’s simply a chance for us to meet and see how it feels.
Your First Full Session:
If you choose to go ahead, our first full 50‑minute session will be slightly different from the sessions that follow. We’ll take time to talk through the counselling agreement, confidentiality, payment, and any practical details that help you feel safe and informed. We’ll also explore what you’re hoping for from therapy, what matters to you, and any goals or intentions you’d like to hold lightly as we begin.
A Steady, Supportive Start:
You don’t need to prepare anything or know exactly what you want to say. We can begin wherever you are — whether that’s a clear issue, a jumble of thoughts, or simply a sense that something in your life needs attention. My role is to offer a calm, grounded presence as we get to know each other and start building a therapeutic relationship that feels safe and supportive.
