About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative counsellor and creative therapist working with adults. My practice is grounded in a person-centred approach, offering a calm, accepting and non-judgemental space where you can feel safe, heard and understood.
I have experience supporting adults with a wide range of emotional and relational difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, trauma, bereavement and loss, life transitions, identity concerns, and feelings of overwhelm. My work as a bereavement counsellor with Myton Hospice and as a trauma counsellor with Brainstrust has shaped my understanding of how illness, loss and traumatic experiences can affect both emotional wellbeing and sense of self.
Alongside talking therapy, I integrate creative and nature-based approaches, which can be especially helpful when feelings are hard to put into words. This may include the use of creative therapy, imagery or walk-and-talk sessions, where movement and connection with nature can support grounding, reflection and emotional processing.
I offer in-person and online counselling for adults, as well as nature-based therapy. Where appropriate and by arrangement, I can also provide home visits and therapeutic support within hospital or care settings, where familiar or contained environments may help you feel more at ease.
Sessions are always shaped around you and your individual needs. My aim is to offer a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship in which understanding, resilience and growth can gently develop.
I believe you are the expert in your own experience, and I will work alongside you with care, curiosity and respect to explore what feels most important for you.
Practice description
My approach is gentle, compassionate and paced according to you as the client’s needs. I aim to provide a calm, containing space where you can explore your experiences without judgement, and where difficult feelings can be held safely. I believe each person is the expert in their own life, and my role is to walk alongside you with care, curiosity and respect as you make sense of what you are going through.
As an integrative counsellor, my practice is rooted in a person-centred, relational approach and shaped around each individual. I place great importance on building a trusting therapeutic relationship, recognising that feeling emotionally safe and truly heard is central to meaningful change.
I have experience working with adults facing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, trauma, bereavement, loss, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and feelings of overwhelm. I currently volunteer as a bereavement counsellor within Myton Hospice and have also worked as a counsellor with Brainstrust, supporting individuals affected by life-limiting illness, grief, shock, and complex emotional responses. These roles have deepened my understanding of how vulnerability, fear, loss and uncertainty can impact both identity and relationships.
I offer one-to-one counselling for adults in person from my practice in Warwick, as well as online sessions. I also provide nature based, walk-and-talk therapy, using local outdoor routes. Working in nature can support grounding, reflection and emotional processing, and can feel more accessible for some people than traditional room-based therapy.
Where appropriate and by arrangement, I can also offer home visits and therapeutic support within hospital settings across Warwickshire.
Sessions are tailored to the individual, whether you are seeking support with a specific difficulty or simply a space to reflect, process and reconnect with yourself in a deeper way.
My first session
Following our first contact, I offer a free half-hour introductory phone or Zoom call. This provides an opportunity for us to meet, explore whether we feel like a good fit, and for you to briefly share what has brought you to consider counselling.
If you choose to proceed, I will then send you an intake form and a counselling contract, which clearly explains how I work and the practical and ethical aspects of therapy. All discussions are treated as confidential and in line with professional and safeguarding guidelines.

About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative counsellor and creative therapist specialising in working with children and young people aged 5+, as well as adults. My practice is grounded in a person-centred approach, offering a calm, accepting and non-judgemental space where clients can feel safe, heard and understood.
I have many years’ experience supporting children and young people with a wide range of emotional, behavioural and relational difficulties, including those with additional needs and SEN. I understand that young people often communicate in ways beyond words, and I offer a gentle, creative and flexible approach that allows them to express themselves at their own pace.
Alongside talking therapy, I integrate creative and nature-based approaches, which can be particularly helpful when feelings are hard to articulate. For children, this might include creative, sensory or play-based elements; for adults, it can include creative therapy and walk-and-talk sessions, where movement and connection with nature support reflection and emotional processing.
I am trained in the PACE model, a therapeutic approach which is an attachment informed and trauma aware approach supporting emotional safety, regulation and relational healing for children and young people.
I offer in-person and online sessions, as well as nature therapy for adults. I also provide home visits for children and young people who are experiencing difficulties with school attendance, and therapeutic support within care homes and hospital settings, where familiar or contained environments can help clients feel safer and more at ease.
Sessions are always shaped around the individual and their needs. Whether working with a child, young person or adult, my aim is to offer a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship where understanding, resilience and growth can gently develop.
I believe each person is the expert in their own experience, and I will work alongside you — or your child — to bring focus to what feels most important.

I specialise in working with children and young people and have many years’ experience supporting a wide range of emotional, behavioural and relational difficulties. This includes anxiety, low mood, emotional overwhelm, difficulties with school attendance, neurodiversity and additional needs (SEN), as well as the impact of change, loss or challenging life experiences.
I understand that seeking therapy for your child can feel daunting. My approach is gentle, patient and led by the child or young person. I work at their pace, taking time to help them feel safe. Children often communicate through play, creativity or movement, so alongside talking therapy I may use creative or play-based approaches to help them express themselves in ways that feel accessible.
Sessions for children and young people are offered in person from my practice in Warwick. I also offer home visits, particularly for those struggling with school attendance or find unfamiliar environments overwhelming.
I work collaboratively with parents and carers while keeping the child or young person’s confidentiality at the centre of the work. .
For adults, I offer one-to-one counselling sessions either in person or online from my practice in Warwick.
I also offer walk-and-talk therapy, with locally arranged routes. Working outdoors and in nature can support reflection, grounding and emotional processing, and can be a gentler alternative to room-based therapy.
Where requested and appropriate, home visits and therapeutic support within hospital settings can be arranged within Warwickshire.
Sessions are shaped around the individual and their needs. I believe each person is the expert in their own experience, my role is to work alongside you — or your child — with care, curiosity and respect.
