About me and my therapy practice
My name is Melloney, I am a psychodynamic therapist based in Southampton. I am interested in people, their experiences and how they shape how we view the world. Exploring our inner world in therapy can help us connect more deeply with those around us and create more meaningful lives.
Practice description
I trained at the University of Oxford, where I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling and am currently undertaking a research MSt. I previously studied Psychology, Sociology and Philosophy at undergraduate level with the Open University.
My clinical work is grounded in psychodynamic theory, with attention to unconscious processes, relational patterns and emotional experience.
